Alignment summary: Chaotic Good. Molly genuinely wants to do well by others and gets along with most in a locker room. She fights fair until her opponent cheats and then all bets are off. She gives what she gets.
What are their views on cheating? She'll only cheat if her opponent does or tries to do so. Otherwise it's honorable combat.
What are their views on teaming with others? Molly loves working with others and is a great team player.
A few strengths.. Strong for her size, incredible resilience and stamina, versatile, and flexible. Lower center of gravity for leverage throws. No restraint or hesitation in her actions, she commits fully.
A few weaknesses.. ADHD, short stature, light weight (easily thrown), and sometimes her natural aggression can override her common sense when she's angry. (But she IS trying to work on that!)
Favourite weapon(s): She likes Kendo sticks, Steel Chairs, and lengths of chains. Often carries a black manriki chain in her pocket just in case, but will only use it when being attacked by outside interference in a match or if an opponent grabs a weapon and she's unarmed.
Favourite match types: Hardcore, Ladder, Submission, and Cage matches.
Wrestling Style(s): A hybridization of street brawling, lucha libre, european, and japanese shoot wrestling. Molly is quite likely to improvise something during a match due to her very broad and diverse move set. Tends to rely on speed, misdirection, and aerial/springboard moves a great deal. Her only real weakness in wrestling style is her diminutive stature at 5' 3" and weight of 115 lbs. She tends to get thrown around like a ragdoll by larger opponents if she's not careful. On her feet, she's constantly in motion and doing what she can to confuse and confound her opposition while getting as many hits as she can in. In her recent time off, she took up BJJ, specializing in Plata variants with a few extra arm and leg bar holds sprinkled in to better round herself out and while she's no master, she can handle herself quite well in the ground game, making her a well rounded, broadly offensive fighter.
Also her Hardcore game is very strong due to her dirty barroom brawling foundation and a long history of Mexican and Japanese Death Matches on her career resume.
MATCH TENDENCIES: Molly likes to get in her opponent's head, do things to put them off balance for most of the match. If she finds a way to piss off or annoy an opponent to throw them off their game, she'll do it in a good spirited kind of way. She's always in motion, yet has great breathing control. Her style comes off as random and chaotic, but beneath the surface of insanity lies a keen mind that's always turning the wheels and thinking one to two moves ahead. She has no problems with unleashing her cruelty in the ring against those who deserve it and will cheat to win against those who cheat against her first.
Finisher(s):
The Cross to Bear - Float-Over Falcon Arrow - Molly can pull this on an opponent larger than herself, but it takes a great deal of effort. Anyone over 5' 8" would be difficult, but not impossible. Over 6 feet would be almost impossible. She wouldn't even try it. This move can also be performed off the top rope as well. This was her original finishing move, but isn't a common or easy use finisher for her, it's relegated to a "Super/Desperation Finishing Move"
Ginger Ninja Death Drop - Satellite DDT - A secondary impact finish option for larger opponents for her to take them down as well as a quick out-of-nowhere finish option. Can be hit from a running leap or a long range springboard attack up to the center of the ring
The Hurt Locker - Multiple Variations of the Omoplata/Marceloplata/Baratoplata. It’s just what she calls it when she locks any of those moves on -
She began learning this set of moves to help a friend learn to escape the Omoplata. Now she can lock on any known variation of the Plata expertly, becoming a bit of an arm submission expert in the process.
Signature Moves:
Goodnight Gracie - Half-Nelson Rear Naked Choke
Spiral Dropkick - Spinning Dropkick that can be done standing, running, springboard, or Diving
The Molly Bomber - Diving Cannonball Swanton Bomb
A Splash of Ginger - Stinger Splash in the corner
Hatchet Bomb - Springboard Superwoman Punch
Glasgow Kiss - Jumping Head Butt
Ginger Snap German Suplex - A surprise German Suplex that Molly will use even when an opponent is bigger than she is. She won't hit an opponent over 6' 3" and heavier than 230 lbs. The size difference beyond that would crush her flat. The only time this is an exception is when she hits this move off a ladder. When hitting a German off the ladder, she hooks her legs on the ladder to keep herself on it, giving her an advantage in ladder matches as a result.
Bend The Knee - A response to hearing the term "Bend the Knee" one too many times, Molly started working on and adapting a rather brutal hiza-juji-gatame into her repertoire that she calls that very same thing. They said bend the knee, they never say who's or in what direction now do they?
Known Relationships: She knew Ace Sky in Wrestle Kingdom and is Best friends with Griffin Hawkins and Arley Kirk. Everyone else in 5LW is relatively unknown to her or someone she's had very little interaction with.
Personality summary: Molly's a feisty bundle of trouble with a heart of gold, a megawatt smile, wicked sense of humor, and a vulgar mouth. She's fights fiercely for what she believes in, leaves it all in the ring night after night, and has high aspirations as a professional wrestler. She hopes to one day be the legend that in her heart, she knows she's capable of being.
Likes: Honesty, Good fights, and Parties
Dislikes: Liars, Cheats, and Cowards
Catchphrase: May the Best Ginger Win!
Brief Bio/Backstory:
So ye’ want me story then. Alright. So I hail from what is now tha’ district of Kenross and Perthshire, St. Fillan’s Scotland. I’m tha’ result of me mother cheatin’ on her bastard husband with a Welsh sailor, born into an abusive environment as a result. Me legal father was not tha’ type to just file a divorce, being a devoted in name only Catholic. It was this upbringin’ that likely contributed ta’ me bein’ a violent wee bitch. If I wasn’t at home gettin’ knuckled over, I was pickin’ fights in school fer money. I’d eventually graduate to adults before I was even fifteen, drinkin’ copious amounts of alcohol ta’ ease tha’ pain. I know, underage drinkin’ is soooo "edgy" n'at. I dinnae’ do it ta’ be cooler than anyone but ta’ cope. Aye, twas an addiction that’d grow ta’ do more harm than good over that course of me life. Won and Lost 50/50, but I earned enough money to escape to America, leavin' all of it behind.
At sixteen, I boarded a boat from the port of Inverness and a week later, I stepped off the boat in New York. At first I had a difficult time adjusting to life here, finding a home in New Jersey. Me first job was that of a dishwasher in a hotel kitchen, but I subsidized me income as I always had; fightin’ fer money. I was alright, though I dinnae’ win every fight, I did win more than I lost. It was ok fer a time, payin’ fer the painkiller that is cheap whisky while keepin’ tha’ lights on and food on tha’ table. What I dinnae’ know is that wrestling scouts like to come to these underground fightin’ events ta’ find promisin’ talent.
Twas how I got me big break, havin’ one hell of a night and one approached me backstage with a card and a phone number. Before I knew it, I was a few months into me wrestlin’ career fighting for a tagteam championship at an age when most were learnin’ the ropes. I took to wrestlin’ like a duck in water, learnin’ as I went and even found a grand teacher by tha’ name of Rory “Silverhand” Fitzpatrick.
I hit wrestlin’ on fire and fer a time, I was a hot commodity that everyone wanted ta’ book. I wrestled all over tha’ world fer so many different titles but now I’m fighting fer tha’ one plate of gold I’ve never held… A real World Championship. I’d love ta’ achieve this goal before I hit thirty and if I keep fightin’ and tryin’ I just might! Tis not an easy goal to achieve and me addictions certainly didn’t help. Part of tha’ reason I live clean now. Cannae’ be tha’ face of a company and a stumblin’ bumblefuck of a drunk, yeah?
