PRE SHOW: SINGLES MATCH
Legion v Roni Tyler
The crowd filed in nicely for the pre show warm up to see Roni Tyler go over Legion with ease. The Canadian Kaiju proved too powerful for her counterpart, winning the match with a Tyleryzer (Powerbomb Lungblower).
Winner: Roni Tyler

OPENER: TAG TEAM MATCH
Mullet Club v Illuminati PROJEKT
Patti and Monty started this off, several combined decades of experience inside the ring together. Monty made the stronger start but Patti got a hot tag to Jack. Monty was up against it but found a hot tag of his own as Gwen came busting into the ring. It was one way traffic from there as she sealed things with a swinging leg hook fireman’s carry slam she calls the Texas Twist.
Winners: Illuminati PROJEKT
BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to the outside of the arena where Wrestlers normally make their entrance to the backstage portion of the building. There are some barriers set up to keep fans back plus minimal security. We then see Chris Styles and Zoey Styles walk into the scene both carrying a gear bag over one shoulder. The fans go crazy, mostly cheers for Chris and his sister. Chris stops and turns towards them smiling while Zoey looks a little annoyed but slowly turns as well smiling and waving.
Chris Styles: Love the energy guys!
Zoey Styles: Yeah… so awesome love it….
Chris Styles: Tonight my friends I am going to do you all proud in the main event.
Zoey Styles: Yeah a freaking ten person tag match they put him in that seems seriously like such a great way to use a talent such as my brother let me tell you.
Chris Styles: Oh Zoey just relax it’s part of the business and one way or another tonight out in that ring I will get tagged in and make a huge impact because it’s what I love to do my little sister. I mean seriously you need to stop worrying so much tonight I’m in the main event. Yes, it’s a multi person tag match but it’s still the main event and I plan on putting on a damned show.
Zoey still looked annoyed even after Chris said those things. She kind of paced around in a circle and her brother Chris gave her one of those “What the hell type of looks”...
Chris Styles: Zoey what is up with you?
Zoey Styles: Huh me? Nothing, I'm just concerned that tonight you have been set up for a loss.
Chris Styles: How so?
Zoey Styles: Uh well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that you have four teammates that you really don’t even know and also realize that any of them could get pinned or submitted which means you lose Christopher…..
Some fans heard this conversation and yelled “Chris is a winner no matter what!”
Chris Styles: Exactly what they said!
Zoey Styles: Sigh… I just don’t like it, that's all.
Chris Styles: There are things in this business that you won’t like but you put a smile on that face and persevere. And, look I am no rocket scientist but I do know that tonight when I get the tag I will continue to remind the wrestling world that Chris Styles is on the rise. Tonight is just another night where I get to go out there and do what I love, which is wrestle in front of people and kick some ass!
The fans gathered around popped from his last words. “THAT’S RIGHT YEAHHHH they yelled”
Zoey Styles: I guess
Chris Styles: You guess? Zoey trust your older brother there is no guessing when I get tagged or even possibly start the match that I will kick some ass. Now could I lose because of one of my teammates getting pinned or submitted? Sure that is a possibility but I am going to for sure do my part and put on one hell of a show for my fans. If a loss happens it won't be because of me not trying my very best..
Zoey Styles: Yeah you’re one hundred percent right on that. Tonight no matter what happens you will make a big impact yes indeed!
Chris Styles: Damn right now lets go inside and find our locker room.
Zoey Styles: Alright sounds good.
Chris Styles: AND, TO YOU FANS SEE YOU IN THE ARENA WHEN I SMASH TONIGHT!
With that Chris and Zoey walk inside through the doors of the backstage part of the arena and the fans yell loudly for Chris.
LOW CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Iida Matsuda v Juno Phillips
Iida came up short last week in her attempt to claim the Television Title, and she was intent on getting back to winning ways against the brash Juno. Phillips tried every trick in the book to steal the win but Matsuda was calm and collected throughout, eventually finishing things with a Shockwave (Spinning Heel Kick) for the win.
Winner: Iida Matsuda
BACKSTAGE
The Masked Hipsters were backstage with Emma Harrington. El Gigante Hawaiano said nothing as Juan Fall spoke about how they were going to be like nothing the wrestling business had seen before. Emma said people had been speculating who they were if they would ever reveal themselves but Juan said no. The cameras then panned out to show Ryan Samuels seemingly inspecting El Gigante Hawaiano. The big masked man didn’t move though, as Samuels looking him up and down from all angles. He stepped back and wagged his finger, his eyes narrowed with suspicion, before walking off and shaking his head in confusion.
LOW CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Mateo Salavea v El Gigante Hawaiano
The colossal figure of El Gigante Hawaiano made the 6’ 6” Mateo appear modest but the Salaveas always rise to the challenge, no matter who or what comes their way. A good test of strength and power, Mateo overcame some early trouble to put the big man in trouble. With Mateo on top, Juan Fall had seen enough and jumped to create a two on one attack. Tinsley Nolan came running to the ring but it was too late by that point, as the Masked Hipsters exited, presumably satisfied with their work.
Winner: Mateo Salavea (by disqualification)
BACKSTAGE
Backstage several staff members have congregated around a shut door. It was marked with a small placard that said ‘STAFF ONLY - JANITORIAL’ and one of the people outside the door was a man who appeared to be the janitor himself if we were to judge by his work coveralls and the fact he was pushing a mop and bucket about. The commotion was coming from the conflict that he could not get into his supply closet because someone else had locked themself inside it.
That someone being Khloe Bell, whom the last time anyone in Five Lakes had seen her she’d lost it all. Her significant other and her were bitter enemies, and most important and painfully of all, she’d lost her longest relationship of all, that of her and the North American Championship. It had been the straw that broke the camel’s back and Khloe Bell’s already teetering well being. The woman was a shell of her former self and a shell of a human at all.
A man in a black security shirt rolled his eyes, having grown tired of knocking politely on the door. He banged and yelled, demanding she open it before he break it down himself. And with that the door did open, it parted just a crack and the man pulled it open to let himself inside, only to find himself pulled violently within by his neck. The door slammed behind him and there was a small scuffle that came with shrieks and screams from both participants until the security guard came tumbling back out moments later with his face and neck scratched and bloodied.
The door slammed and locked once again, the problem no closer to being solved…

LOWER MID CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Sally Lambert v Molly Hatchet
Debuting Hatchet and returning Lambert was a mouth watering prospect for most fight fans, and it duly delivered with a high energy, brutal affair. Lambert came close to an impromptu win against Chelsea LeClair last week, and looked set to get this one over line and dampen Hatchet's spirits, but after attempting her trademark Jumping Cutter, Hatchet pushed her away just in time, countering with a Hatchet Bomb (Springboard Superwoman Punch) to pick up a maiden win for her new employers.
Winner: Molly Hatchet
BACKSTAGE
Now en route to the ring Khloe Bell was heading down the corridor, completely void of emotion, her head down and focused on her match when she collided with Molly Hatchet coming the other way from the arena. They both stopped for a second and sized one another up, neither saying a word or breaking eye contact, as the cameras cut back to ringside.
TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
Arley Kirk (c) v Khloe Bell
These two were no strangers to one another, both eager to renew their in ring rivalry. Bell’s long North American Title run had come to an end last week in controversial circumstances, and now Kirk stood in her way of getting back on the roll call. After two successful defences though she was never going to concede her title easily, as they picked up where they previously left off. Last time out Bell had the better of Kirk, who was then challenging for her North American Title. But with the boot on the other foot, and Bell no longer a champion, she seemed to be pushing herself harder than we'd ever seen before. Since day one she had held her coveted title, and carried it with unprecedented hubris. Many had speculated how she would respond, with this immediate opportunity to put herself back in the limelight. Kirk though had already fought off three competitors in two separate defences since dethroning Tiffany Lynn Page, the same woman incidentally, that controversially ended Bell's impressive title run. Kirk was known for her relentless pursuit of victory, but it was Bell who had the bit between her teeth, and took everything Kirk threw at her. Looking down and out though she pulled something out of nowhere, a last throw of the dice as Kirk momentarily let her guard down - Taste The Rain-bell (Mandible Claw)! Kirk never saw it coming, wide eyed and shocked to the core. Bell locked eyes with her adversary as she flailed in agony for what seemed like an eternity before eventually tapping out! Bell released the hold and looked around for the Referee in disbelief. Her hand was raised and she snatched the belt from his clutches and held it to her chest before dropping to her knees in emotion, as her music blared around the arena. She champion once more, much to the surprise of many, including herself.
Winner: Khloe Bell (New Television Champion)
ARENA
The General Manager, Frank James, entered the Milwaukee arena and a hush came over the fan base. When Frank James talked, everyone listened.
JAMES: I am proud to announce that we have another new signing to Five Lakes Wrestling! The growth of this federation has been incredible to see, and I truly believe it’s only going to get bigger and better. Without further adieu, I would like to introduce Jack McGrath!
Quite a few fans in attendance recognized the name, and prepared themselves to be maligned. McGrath sauntered out into the arena. He looked disheveled with his long gnarly hair, and thick beard. McGrath adorned his trademark black eye patch over his left eye. A look of wickedness flooded the other.
MCGRATH: In a million years I did not expect to be wrestling in the Midwest, but here I am, in all of my glory. A new brand of violence will be sweeping through Five Lakes Wrestling. Destruction, ruin and confusion will follow. That’s my promise to you all.
McGrath confidently nodded and adjusted his black hoodie.
MCGRATH: There really isn’t much more to say. My actions will speak louder than my words. Unfortunately, all of you shitheads in Milwaukee will not be graced with my presence tonight. But, next week someone is going to get hurt.
Jack McGrath abhorrently dropped the microphone, ignored the General Manager Frank James, and walked towards the back as a chorus of boos echoed in his direction.

MID CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Tinsley Nolan v Nessa Reckless
Tinsley was a bit more composed than her previous match, and held her own with the experienced Nessa throughout. Nessa tried a couple of attempts at getting her legs up on the ropes for leverage in pinfalls, but Tinsley kept her cool, and retaliated with the same dirty tactics just to get under her skin. Nessa began to complain to the Ref, but managed to fuel her anger into the energy she needed to overcome a relentless Nolan, reversing an armbar to hit a surprise Jumping Cutter for the win. Nessa walked half way up the entrance ramp before turning around and making her way to the announcers table. With Kore Violet up next she wanted a front row seat to see how she would fair.
Winner: Nessa Reckless
CHAMPION vs CHAMPION SHOWCASE: NON TITLE
Griffin Hawkins v Kore Violet
A huge match up next, as the Undisputed Champion pits her wits against the highly decorated, and reigning Openweight Champ in Griffin Hawkins. The crowd as ever were right behind Hawkins, who had Violet in all kinds of trouble throughout this match. Kore tried her utmost to remain focused, despite the presence of Nessa peering over shoulder. But she was quick to taunt her adversary, and the fans, at any opportunity. In typical Violet-fashion she overturned this in the most unlikeliest of situations, reversing his Star Crossed finisher into her own STARFIRE (Russian Legsweep to Ground Octopus Hold). Hawkins tapped after fighting valiantly, but was just about able to release himself before she tried latching her teeth into his skin. Violet, a worthy winner, snapped her teeth and let off a wicked grin, still managing to anger the fans in victory.
Winner: Kore Violet
ARENA
Kore hung around in the ring after and demanded a mic. She was tired of fighting anyone and everyone in the company. Even ‘the great Griffin Hawkins’ could not light a candle to her name now. As champion she should get to choose when and where she fights and at LIVE! From Toronto she wanted to defend her title against an opponent of her choice. She called Nessa to the ring and put out a hand. Nessa agreed and the match was made. There was a mixed reaction from the crowd as they stared one another down. Kore picked up her title and wrapped it around her waist, a reminder that she was still the champion, and Nessa very much the challenger here, before exiting the ring and swaggering up the entrance ramp, before raising the belt aloft for all, including Nessa, to see, one more time.
HEADLINER: HANDICAP MATCH
Chelsea LeClair & Callie Renton v Tiffany Lynn Page & La Fracasada
LeClair was eager to get her hands on TLP, especially now the North American Title was in her possession. Renton too was keen to prove herself against ‘top tier’ opposition again after last weeks defeat, and made light of La Fracasada in the opening exchanges. She purposely allowed the tag to Page and kept her team on top before letting LeClair in to have her fun. But it was short lived as Page typically cheated her way back in for her team to regain control. LeClair reversed things back though as they looked all set to beat the odds and defeat the trio in front of them when a man appeared from nowhere, climbing over the barrier and entering the ring. Neither LeClair or Renton saw him coming as he snuck up from behind and attacked them both with a steal chair. The crowd and commentators knew exactly who this was.. DUKE ANDREWS! He made sure that neither woman was able to get back up as the bell rang frantically to signal the end of the match. Tiffany Lynn Page celebrated a victory of sorts with her boyfriend and her allies as thefans began hurling abuse left, right and centre.
Winners: Chelsea LeClair & Callie Renton (by disqualification)
INTERVIEW
Backstage Tiffany Lynn Page and Duke Andrews were stood by Emma Harrington. Page gloated that a message needed to be sent to any would be challengers to her title. Along with Duke, Avery and Jess there was no one to stop them taking over this company. Every town or city they go to from here the fans should show their appreciation and recognise the significance of their achievements through professional wrestling. Duke chimed in to say he was putting the rest of the roster on notice. Be it LeClair, Renton, or whoever. Come 2024 they were coming for it all!
MAIN EVENT: 10-MAN TAG MATCH
Journeyman Phillips, Jay Sinclair, Andrew Garrison, Ryan Samuels & AJ Rivera
v
Ace Sky, Chris Styles, TATER, Travis Levitt & Andrew Raynes
With all ten men inside the ring there was some back and forth over who should start the match. After a quick rock, paper, scissors Andrew Raynes got the nod, respectfully fist-bumping his team mates before the bell. Journeyman Phillips was adamant he should go first when he saw Raynes was ready to go, but Ryan Samuels had already declared himself the legal man to the Ref as things got underway. Samuels and Raynes came face to face, trash talking one another before going at it hammer and tongs. Samuels got the upper hand and let Phillips have his turn but Raynes over turned things and brought in Travis Levitt to keep things fresh. After an impressive spell that got got the fans on their feet he let Tater loose but a low blow from the Journeyman allowed his team back in. Garrison got the tag and took great pleasure beating Tater around the ring. After a while Sinclair pleaded with him to switch things up but he was having none of it, continuing the beat down for as long as he could. But complacency got the better of him and Tater found a way back in, making the hot tag to Styles. The crowd were on their feet now but Sinclair wasn’t going to let this carry on without getting a piece of the action as dived into ring, prompting everyone else to pile in as all hell broke loose. Raynes and Phillips renewed their rivalry once more, as Samuels hit a fine Lariat on Levitt. Rivera tried taking out Sky but was sent flying as the Referee demanded everyone leave the ring bar Garrison and Styles. By this time Garrison had recovered enough to legally tag Sinclair in as he and Styles went back and forth. Styles switched up for Sky, whose energy and enthusiasm livened things up once more. Some back and forth with Levitt kept things on top for a while until Sky found himself in the corner. Phillips grabbed his arm to prevent him going anywhere as Sinclair charged at him. He tagged in Rivera who saw this one out for his team, finishing things off with a Dream Shatterer (Diamond Head). Raynes tried to break up the pin but a Samuels Lariat stopped him just in time as the Referee made the count. The five winners stood in the ring looking satisfied with themselves, a couple of fist bumps here and there in acknowledgement as the night came to a close.
Winners: Journeyman Phillips, Jay Sinclair, Andrew Garrison, Ryan Samuels & AJ Rivera
