ARENA: OPENING SEGMENT
The show kicked off with Nessa Reckless coming out to the ring. She looked around the crowd and described them as a 'sorry looking bunch'. But that was understandable, she added, to their intrigue. In her eyes they were all bored of Five Lakes Wrestling. She said people were bored of Bite Club, they were bored of Khloe Bell self-sabotaging and generally being a bit grotesque, and they were bored of Tiffany Lynn Page’s haggered old body. They needed a new face, and body, to sprinkle some stardust at the top of this company and that person was her. Molly Hatchet thinks she has come to spoil the party but she proved last week she wasn’t in Kore’s league, and Kore Violet isn’t in Nessa's league so that shows how far down the pecking order she is. People are talking up Callie Renton as the next big thing but she too proved last week that she isn't up to the task. Tonight was going to be a nice warm up for a historical night in Toronto.. The night the Reckless Era truly took shape.
OPENER: SINGLES MATCH
Roni Tyler v Iida Matsuda
With neither of these women currently booked for Toronto it was a good opportunity to showcase their talents and possibly find a way onto the card. Matsuda always came flying out the traps and caught the powerful Tyler off guard. A big Powerslam swung things back in her favour though and she saw the match out from there, ending Matsuda's hopes of another win, with a Tyleryzer (Powerbomb Lungblower) and the three count.

LOW CARD: TAG TEAM MATCH
The Rogues Gallery v Silas Romero & Jack McGrath
Four of the newest acquisitions all lined up for this explosive tag match. There were already tensions between the makeshift team of Romero and McGrath, who naturally argued over who should start, both eager to impress. The Referee eventually had to interject and chose for them, with Romero getting the nod. The Rogues Gallery were a slick outfit, but Romero held his own and tagged in McGrath as the match swung back and forth between each side. A mistake from Romero didn't go down too well with his partner but he was far from out of it. Levi and Shaun, however, were astute enough to keep sufficient distance between the two of them, and preventing a hot tag to McGrath. Eventually McGrath had seen enough and entered the ring, attacking not only his opponents but Romero too as the match was subsequently abandoned. The Rogues Gallery were furious at how things had ended as Romero and McGrath sought to fight them off so they could get stuck into one another. Eventually they were all separated by officials, with nobody satisfied at the outcome of this, either in or out of the ring.

BACKSTAGE
Roni Tyler was backstage with Frank James. She was tired of 'curtain jerking' since her time here while newer people seem to get a leg up. She has beaten all the people put in front of her recently and demanded a real challenge at Toronto. James said he couldn't agree more, and as it goes he had just lined up a Television Title shot at the Night 2 of the Supershow. However, the belt will also be defended at Night 1, so her opponent, at this point, remains a mystery. Roni didn't care who it was, though, she was ready for the opportunity.
LOWER MID CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Jess Carter v Chelsea LeClair
A routine win for LeClair was expected here but Carter put up a strong fight, the likes of which she has put in across many promotions over the years, albeit less frequently in 5LW. After a ropey start though LeClair turned things in her favour and put this one to bed. After the count she picked up the mic and sent a message directly to Tiffany Lynn Page that if she wanted to play dirty in Toronto then bring it on, and hit another finisher on Carter for good measure. The commentators were shocked to see this side of her, but the crowd were here for it.

BACKSTAGE
Tiffany Lynn Page was watching all this on a screen alongside Duke Andrews and Frank James, as she prepared for her match. Page was furious, she said it's disgusting that someone would act in this way, and demanded that she was removed from the North American Title match in Toronto. 'Ban her from the show, and ban Callie Renton too while you're at it!' she yelled. James laughed it off though, and said the fans were looking forward to this match. He said he had considered giving Renton a spot in the match too. Page didn't like this idea, unsurprisingly, but James said he had a better idea for now. Since Duke wasn't yet booked, he would face Renton instead.
MID CARD: SINGLES MATCH
Tinsley Nolan v Tiffany Lynn Page
Nolan was hyped for this one, a great opportunity to test herself against the experienced North American champion. Page downplayed her opposition’s chances but after a testing five minutes, the majority of which had Nolan on top, she decided enough was enough and exited the ring. She picked up her belt and a mic to declare she was saving herself for Toronto, ‘not because she needed to but because she wanted to embarrass LeClair and put an end to her career, for the sake of everyone. Anyone with young children should want to thank her afterwards, as LeClair was no role model given her substance abuse past.' Nolan wasn't happy though and called for her to come back and finish the match but Page was having none of it. An exacerbated Nolan vowed to finish this another time, but was looking ahead to Toronto, and finally settling the score she and Salavea's had with the Phillips'.

BACKSTAGE
Rogues Gallery were backstage in Frank James office. They wanted a rematch with Romero and McGrath in Toronto, and an opportunity to show why they were the best team in this company. James turned them down though. He said there was no way he could expect Romero and McGrath to coincide and give them the match they want. The next time those two men share a ring WILL be in Toronto, but it will be against each other. For them though, he had a different proposition. Tonight we would find out who is facing the NOVA Empire for the Tag Team Titles. Two great teams, but only one could come out on top. Whoever lost, would be their opponents at the Supershow.
MID CARD: TAG TEAM MATCH
Jay Sinclair and Chris Styles v Ace Sky and Travis Levitt
These four men will share a ring together again a few days time, but this served as a good opportunity to size each other up before that encounter. Sinclair was itching to get his hands on the Openweight Championship again, and got the crowd hyped up with some pre-match freestyle. Styles, already in the ring at this point, looked impressed, as they awaited their opponents. With so much experience in the ring, it was no surprise to see them all out-perform one another at various intervals. Sky was a human highlight reel, as always, while Styles got the crowd behind him and his partner throughout. The powerful Levitt was difficult to pin down, but after a back and forth display from both side Styles managed to seal it with a STYLES CRUSH (Closeline from hell), while Sinclair ensured the pin wasn't broken with a spear to Levitt as he approached from the side of the ring. Job done, Sinclair nodded his head to Styles in respect. Styles tried to raise his partner’s hand in the air but Sinclair wasn’t interested, letting him know that now the match was over they were effectively rivals, and he was standing in his way to reclaim the belt he has unfinished business with.
Winners: Jay Sinclair and Chris Styles
UPPER MID CARD: TAG TEAM TITLE NO. 1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Illuminati PROJEKT v Salavea Twins
The Rogues Gallery, putting aside their frustrations from earlier in the night, came out for a closer look at this match. They were dismissive of both teams in the build up, happy to inflict further pain on whichever side lost tonight. However, these two were currently leading the way in terms of challenging NOVA Empire, and after a huge pop for each side on arrival, they squared off in a nervy encounter. Monty's experience kept things composed for his side in the early exchanges, but the energy of the Salavea's was difficult to match as they rapidly tagged one another into the ring. Gwen though seemed to grow into the match as time went on and while it was a good even contest, it was her that sealed the win and their shot at the titles with an impressive Low Superkick, following a running knee smash from Monty beforehand. The Margolis' celebrated, as their undefeated streak continued, while the Salavea's humbly accepted their loss, and a further wait to reclaim the belts they once held.

BACKSTAGE
Iida Matsuda was backstage with the increasingly popular Frank James, who by now wished he'd taken the evening off. She didn't want to miss out on the big night in Toronto. She had lots of fans, friends and family back home rooting for her and she had promised them she would be at the event. James assured her that she was always going to be a part of it, and that he had just the person lined up. In fact they had asked to face her specifically! Matsuda asked who this person was, but James refused to say.
HEADLINER: TORNADO TAG MATCH
AJ Rivera & Ryan Samuels v Andrew Raynes & Griffin Hawkins
A much anticipated match up featuring all four men of an even more anticipated bout come next week's supershow. There was clearly an intent from all of them to lay down a marker, and in some cases inflict as much pain on their opponents as possible before the big night. Samuels and Rivera, respectful enemies, seemed to coexist with ease - a mutual goal of hurting both men before them. Raynes and Hawkins were less fluid, but had each other's backs when it counted and as the match wore on all four men looked every bit a threat to each other's quest for success. Samuels and Rivera would leave Hamilton though with the bragging rights, after a double clothesline on Hawkins set things up for a Give Them Jessy (Reverse-spin scoop powerslam) by the Midwest Nightmare. Raynes was unable to save his team, and made his way towards the curtain once the match was over. Rivera and Samuels meanwhile picked up Griffin for further punishment. Raynes hesitated, deciding whether to prevent the beat down or leave them to it but he couldn’t resist the fight, and ran back to the ring, brawling with both men and sending them both through the ropes onto the outside. Hawkins pulled himself to his feet as all four men stared one another down from opposite corners of the ring and ringside area.
Winners: AJ Rivera & Ryan Samuels
MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM MATCH
Khloe Bell & Molly Hatchet v Nessa Reckless & Kore Violet
Bell refused to hand over her title to the Referee before the match, insisting it stays in the corner of the ring where she could keep an eye on it. Kore and Nessa seemed to hit it off weirdly, despite being opponent's for the biggest prize on offer in less than two weeks time. Hatchet started brightly and made the tag to Bell but she wasn't a slick as her previous performances, and carelessly allowed Reckless back in to the match. Violet and Reckless exchanged tags several times like a well oiled machine taking turns to beat on Bell, and it looked like no way back, but eventually she made a hot tag to Hatchet who came bounding in to clean things up. Both Violet and Nessa tried to claw it back but Hatchet made the tag to Bell once more, who had picked up a second wind, and she finished things off with Cradle Piledriver (Hell's Bells) on Violet for the three count.
Winners: Khloe Bell & Molly Hatchet
INSIDE THE RING
Hatchet picked up Bell's TV Title ready to hand it to her and celebrate their win. Nessa shrugged her shoulders, ambivalent at the loss and made her way up the entrance ramp, passing Frank James on the way, to the surprise of everyone. He stood half way down the ramp, as Bell's music began to die down. Hatchet was still standing in the ring, with Bell's TV Title in hand, momentarily distracted. James said it was great to see them (Bell and Hatchet) work so well in the ring together. That chemistry would serve us all well in Toronto. They looked at one another confused. 'That's right,' he said, 'You'll be in that ring together once more next week, but this time against one another, for the Television Title!' Hatchet looked down at the belt in her hands and smiled, but Bell immediately snatched it from her grasp, as James exited, and Bell's music began to play again. They stared one another down as the night came to a close.
