COLD OPENING
Blaring bass and distorted trap beats blare out from a candy purple Lamborghini Ursus, an expensive ride for the flyest guy in the room. Ichabod Thrasher, is already dressed in his ring attire but with the addition of a white “Portrait of an American Family” Marilyn Manson shirt. He also had on a thick pair of gold-tinted aviators as he bobbed his head to the music, not realizing the camera had walked up upon him as he hung out in the parking area. With the door open he had one leg perched on the driver's side window and the other hanging from the door. Once he realizes the camera, a big shit-eating grin hits his face as he says something while raising his arm but the music is too loud. Realizing this Ichabod turns it down, his head still waving to the now hushed beat.
Ichabod Thrasher: What up!
Sucking in his teeth, Ichabod lets his head fall backward before straightening up and facing the camera.
Ichabod Thrasher: You know who it is, ya’ future Television champion - the one who gonna’ outlast em all! Five, ten, twenty, I don’t give a fuck how many I gotta take down! The outcome is already written out in stone, it’s the destiny of the young legend Ichybod Thrasher! We out here to do one thing and one thing only, and that’s get the bag and claim the gold! You already know I got what it takes, y’all saw it a few shows ago when I put how many ma’ fuckas down? Shit I don’t even remember, but you know it was a lot. Sure I got downed in the end, but that shit was yesterday and we only focus on the future up in here. And the future looks straight up Ichy - ya’ feel me Gs?
Cracking his knuckles, Ichabod hops out the whip and slams the door much harder than you should slam the door of such an expensive vehicle - but Ich didn’t really give a shit. Money wasn’t nothing to him, he was a man of accomplishments and there was only one thing on his mind.
Ichabod Thrasher: See a wise man once said, if you ain’t first ya last! And ever since then I been pissing out excellence like it wasn’t nothin’. Unlike ya’ resident comedian Flynn O’doyle, or whatever the fuck his last name is. Dude’s always crackin’ jokes - yellin out O’doyle rules! O’doyle rules! Then he goes straight off a cliff… Or atleast that’s how the legend goes.
Ich mimics a car driving straight with his arm before plummeting it down into the metaphorical canyon.
Ichabod Thrasher: But thas all I’m gonna say about that boy, because he just a name in a long list of em. Now I know what you sayin’, Ich… you sound way too damn cocky for a dude who gotta go through an entire roster of folk just to walk out the room with that championship… And you damn right… I do sound cocky… Because I know I got the skills that kill, I know I can make a motherfucker taker with a flick of my wrist, I know I can kick heads off of shoulders and put people down! I know who I am… and I am confident as fuck in my ability to get the job done. When I ball out, I don’t go soft - hell nawh! It’s hard all ma’ fuckin’ day son! You ain’t gonna see me half assin’ out there, never once!
Reaching his arm back through the open window of the car, he turns the keys and throws them into his bag on the floor - picking up the bag and throwing it over his shoulder. He throws up the deuces as he makes his way towards the building.

BACKSTAGE
The show officially got underway in the backstage area, as Tiffany Lynn Page was stood by with Duke Andrews, Gabriel Landry and Marisol Vilaro. Page had her North American Title around her waist and promised to make history again tonight. Not only was she the first person to hold two separate titles in Five Lakes Wrestling but tonight she’ll become the first ever person to hold two titles at the same time! What's more, she would then give the title to Duke once he enters and sit back while he annihilates everyone that comes after him. Page gloated that she was renowned for her generosity, of course, and as such it was time to announce her second opponent for the forthcoming North American Title match with Jessi Ozborne. That person was none other than Marisol Vilaro! Vilaro feigned shock, flattered by this ‘revelation’. Page said it was only right this opportunity went to someone that had worked hard and beaten so many people along the way. If it wasn’t for the downright disgraceful actions of Chelsea LeClair and Myra Rivers attacking her (Page) when she was trying to point out some blatant cheating to the Referee, her and Landry would still be Tag Team Champions. They all shook their heads in disgust at Rivers and LeClair. Page vowed to ensure they would get those belts back soon, but in the mean time it was going to be an honour to share the ring with Vilaro, and to make history tonight, of course.
IN THE RING
Jack McGrath took the mic before the Gauntlet was about to commence. Everyone was here tonight to see this circus, thirty men and women desperate for a piece of his gold, he proclaimed. Well he wasn’t here for fun and games. Multiple men and women are going to get seriously hurt tonight, and at the end of it all he’ll still be walking away as Television Champion, IF he chooses to come back in at the end. With five defences he may decide to spare some people the humiliation and focus on his next goal. He ordered them to bring out his ‘first victim’ as things got underway.
Jack McGrath (c) v Spencer Rourke
McGrath and Rourke started this - quite frankly absurd - match off with some high energy brawling both in and around the ring. It appeared these two were made for each other, and after almost ten minutes of severe back and forth punishment it was impossible to think either would be ready for another fight after this one, let alone whatever else might come. However, there could only one be one winner, and after Rourke attempted a Brainbuster, McGrath was able to reverse it into his own and pick up the first win, and defence, of the night, a second overall for him and his reign.
Winner: Jack McGrath (Still Television Champion)
ON THE RAMP
Next up was the former Openweight Champion, and highly decorated Griffin Hawkins. The jukebox Hero was a man of huge experience and versatility, and the crowd were excited to see what he would bring to the table against the impressive, and dangerous McGrath. However, the fans didn't get what they want, as he was brutally attacked from behind on his way to the ring by Ryan Samuels & Alejandro Rivera. Samuels and Rivera, by no means allies, had been lumbered together last time out in the Tag Team Title Tournament, momentarily putting aside their differences in an unplanned quest for double gold. But the reigning Openweight (Rivera) and Brass Knuckles (Samuels) Champions were stunned to find their belts had been stolen from the backstage area during that event, 14 fays ago. Immediately their thoughts turned to long term rival Hawkins, and they made it very clear that this attack was for no other reason than him ‘allegedly’ stealing their belts. The beat down went on for several minutes, the crowd practically rioting throughout, as McGrath looked on indifferent, waiting patiently for his next defence to resume, when suddenly the large screen behind them began to flicker. The Rogues Gallery then appeared, Kaisano and Silvera, proudly bearing down on the chaos before them. Samuels and Rivera looked up, utterly confused, as the Disciples of Catchdeath pulled from out of shot their stolen championships and slung one each over their shoulders. Their amusement was not matched by the reigning champions, who began to throw threats and insults at the screen. Kaisano then began to speak. He said they had done what was necessary, and took away their prized possessions because they were not worthy of these assets. However, they were willing to return them, in a way, on one condition. Samuels and Rivera must fight them, in a Tag Team Turmoil match, for both belts. Rivera and Samuels were not impressed, neither seeming to agree to this bribe, or disagree, before disappearing to the backstage area, leaving the bloody and beaten Hawkins on the entrance ramp.
Jack McGrath (c) v Griffin Hawkins
Hawkins valiantly pulled himself to his feet and entered the ring but was in no fit state to fight McGrath. Nor was he given a chance to as McGrath took no mercy and inflicted further punishment, delivering his Extinction (Multiple chops in corner, followed by headbutt) followed by a Cold Snap (Cradle Piledriver) for good measure. The crowd were on his back now, as fan favourite Hawkins was helped to his feet and the backstage area for medical assistance.

Winner: Jack McGrath (Still Television Champion)
Jack McGrath (c) v Special Guest
McGrath was full of adrenaline now, edging closer to that fifth title defence, with three to his name. A black silhouette appeared on the screen with a giant question mark in the middle, signifying the first Special Guest of the night. ‘Cyclone’ by Dub Pistols then hit the speakers and there was mixed reaction as Cheetah Mancini appeared atop the entrance ramp making his Five Lakes debut. He ran to the ring and the fight got immediately underway, his scrappy style a great blend to McGrath's similar strong style. They fought back and forth, neither man able to take full control, until McGrath decided to take it to the next level, unhooking the turnbuckle out of the Referees sight and smashing Mancini's face into it. The dazed and bloodied Cheetah failed to recover and fell victim to Things Fall Apart (Vertical Drop Brainbuster). Defence number four for McGrath, who paid no attention to the crowd jeering his name.
Winner: Jack McGrath (Still Television Champion)
Jack McGrath (c) v Andrew Garrison
An equally unpopular man now was entering the fray, as Andrew Garrison made his way to the ring, but just as he was about step inside he noticed Mancini climbing back under the ropes. Furious from the outcome of their match he launched an attack at McGrath and the two started brawling around the ring once more. But with Mancini landing the first blow, McGrath was on the backfoot, as Garrison cleverly bided his time, knowing there could be no disqualification if the match hadn't yet started. When the time was right he climbed under the ropes and attacked them both, with Mancini falling out the ring, and exiting ringside, as Garrison took control of this match. McGrath fought his way back in and a remarkable comeback appeared to be on the cards, but Garrison was fresh and ensured he drove this one home, hitting The G Bomb (Border Toss/Razors Edge) to end McGrath's reign and create the first title change of the night!
Winner: Andrew Garrison (New Television Champion)
Andrew Garrison (c) v Jessi Ozborne
There was a huge pop as former Tag Team Champion Jessi Ozborne came rushing out to the ring. Sliding under the ropes she ducked a clothesline from Garrison and came crashing into him on the return. The crowd were pumped as she effectively bullied the big man around the ring looking to pick up her first singles title in Five Lakes Wrestling. Next week she'll be challenging for the North American strap, in difficult, and controversial circumstances, but was not looking past the man in front of her right now as she set him up for a spinning heel kick, but Garrison reversed with a huge powerslam. Garrison was back on top now and looking to retain his belt but Ozborne wriggled out of the G-Bomb and countered with God's Revolver (Skull Kick)!! Garrison dropped the floor, his big body crashing to the canvas as she made the pin to ensure back to back title changes, amid a huge cheer from the fans.
Winner: Jessi Ozborne (New Television Champion)
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut momentarily to show Jack McGrath brawling with Cheetah Malachi in the corridors. It’s violent, and bloody, men and women rushing out the way as they fight through down the halls and out of view.
Jessi Ozborne (c) v Tater
Jessi catches her breath as “Party Hard” plays over the speakers and out walks Tater! Wielding a steel chair, Tater is met by the ref at the foot of the entrance ramp, who tells him to lose the chair or else. Tater laughs and tries to move past the ref but the man in the zebra print steps in front of him. Suddenly Ozborne runs at the ropes, jumps over them to the ring apron before launching off the middle rope with the Star Destroyer (springboard cutter), slamming Tater to the floor hard! The crowd erupts in cheers as she gets to her feet, holding her back, and drags Tater into the ring. Once back in the ring, Jessi starts laying in stiff kicks right to Tater’s rib, which only infuriates the Masher. After the third kick hits, Tater jumps to his feet and starts throwing forearms! In what can only be described as quite a sight, the two go on an absolute tear and start exchanging massive forearm shots! The crowd is very into this back and forth battle, but Tater ends that with a sudden Mongolian chop. After whipping Osborne into the ropes, Tater takes off and connects with a big time Hot Potato, launching Jessi across the ring with big air! Osborne is writhing in pain on the mat, her back already hurt from before. Tater goes to pick Ozborne up and she fires off a God’s Revolver but Tater catches her foot and locks in an ankle lock! Jessi struggles to get to the ropes and ends up nailing the Masher with a loud enziguiri! Tater stumbles back a few steps, bent over from the head shot he just took when Ozborne bounces off the ropes and connects hard with the Rude Awakening! Tater’s head bounces off the mat and he jumps back to his feet, only to be met with a vicious God’s Revolver that takes Tater right off of his feet. She covers and gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: Jessi Ozborne (Still Television Champion)
Jessi Ozborne (c) v Mikaela Callaway
Jessi pulls herself to her feet as the next wrestler makes their way down to the ring. It’s Mikaela Callaway, one of her many allies in the Queens of Chaos! The two women smirk at each other before shaking hands and the match is on! The two women lock up and struggle to get the advantage. They try again, and again it’s the same result. They go for a test of strength but Jessi kicks Callaway in the gut, wrings the arm and charges into the corner, looking for some lucha inspired attack but her injured back gives out and she spends a little too long on the top turnbuckle. Mikaela takes advantage of this, pulling her off the top, down right across her knee in a modified backbreaker! After that, Callaway’s kicks and strikes all focus on attacking the back of Ozborne. Taking kick after kick, Jessi weathered the storm, catching Mikaela with the occasional elbow strike or knee but for the most part, it was Callaway dictating the pace of the match. After an impressive sequence of a slingshot DDT followed by a nasty camel clutch submission hold, where Mikaela placed her knee right into the lower back of Jessi, Ozborne continued to claw and fight back. The Queen of Queens refused to give up and kept the match going with every kick out and rope break. After dropping Jessi with a stunning tiger suplex, Callaway went for a springboard move but as Mikaela flew through the air, Ozborne unleashed a skull crushing God’s Revolver! Quickly following up, Jessi hooked Callaway up and drives her knee square into Mikeala’s face with a nasty Parrallax (spinning GTS) and barely gets the pin fall win in a narrow victory against her fellow QoC member.
Winner: Jessi Ozborne (Still Television Champion)
Jessi Ozborne (c) v Kimberley Williams
Ozborne sits in the corner, barely able to move at this point with all the damage her back has taken. As Callaway makes her way up the ramp, out comes another Queens of Chaos member, Kimberley Williams! With a slightly unsettling smile on her face, she meets up with Mikaela halfway down the ramp and hands her the Infinity Gauntlet, a staple gun and a bottle of ghost pepper hot sauce before making her way down to the ring. Callaway stands in the middle of the ramp for a moment, confused why she now holds a handful of weaponry before heading into the back. Once in the ring, both women acknowledged each other with a nod as the ring bell rang! As Jessi pulls herself to her feet, Williams flies across the ring with a huge running Morrigan’s Wrath (super kick) that sends Osborne crashing into the turnbuckle! Kimberley drags her into the center of the ring and looks to end the match quickly by locking in her version of a sharpshooter but Jessi fights it off with a few well placed kicks to the side of the head. Williams fights to maintain a hold of Ozborne’s legs but after a fourth shot to the head, she releases her grip. With both women back to their feet, they started a series of strikes that left the crowd gasping! A particularly nasty double throat chop followed by a spinning back fist from Jessi left the Woman Scorned out on her feet but she recovered with a knife edge chop/elbow combo in the corner that had Jessi completely out of breath. The closely contested battle went back and forth as neither woman was able to keep the lead long enough to go for a pin fall. It was after a missed BITCH-Craft by the Queen of Queens that allowed Kimberley to lock in her Angel’s Arch submission that stretched the injured back of Jessi Ozborne to the point where the ref had to check on her. After calling her name a few times and getting no response, the ref called for the bell, awarding Kimberley Williams the television title, becoming the first ever person to hold the belt twice!
Winner: Kimberley Williams (New Television Champion)
Kimberley Williams (c) v Indie Legends
The fans wait in suspense to see who’s next as out comes “America’s Favorite Wrestler” Indie Legends! The chorus of boos follow her down to the ring, as her opponent Kimberley Williams waits inside the ring. Before the ref can call for the bell, Kimberley whispers something in his ear and the ref asks her if she is sure. He then walks over to Indie and whispers into her ear. She nods excitedly as the ref walks over to the ring announcer and tells him that this match is now no disqualification! The crowd roars in excitement as the ref calls for the bell! The two deathmatch queens started a vicious strike exchange with elbows, knees and kicks being thrown with full force and no regard to their opponent. Indie was the first to bring a weapon into the match when she pulled a metal wrench from under the ring. After a few near misses, Williams was able to kick the wrench from Legends’ hand before drilling her to the mat with a spike DDT. Retrieving the wrench, Kimberley locked in a camel clutch, placing the wrench in Indie’s mouth and pulling back with all her might! Legends barely was able to drag herself out of the ring to break up the submission, falling to the mats outside as Williams threw down the wrench. Reaching through the ropes to drag her opponent back into the ring, Kimberley was met with a nasty 2nd Amendment Right punch, aided with Indie’s trusted brass knuckles! The shot knocked Williams right on her back, clearly dazed by the strike. As Williams layed struggling on the mat inside the ring, Legends fished under the ring again and pulled out a table! Setting it up, leaning against the guardrail, Indie climbed on to the ring apron to get back into the ring. She was cut off by a huge Shadowblade knee from the Queen of the Death Match that launched Indie off the ring apron, through the table with a sickening thud! Williams slid out of the ring and dragged her fallen opponent back in and began a series of tactical attacks on Legends’ neck and shoulder area. Indie tried to fight back but Williams cut her off with some well timed chops to the neck to stop any momentum that Legends could use. After getting out of a well placed armlock, Indie was able to connect with a few kicks to the ribs that stopped the onslaught from Williams. Using a chair to target the ribs, Indie went for her American Values move but Kimberley had her scouted and dodged the boot, rolling Legends up for the three count!
Winner: Kimberley Williams (Still Television Champion)
Kimberley Williams (c) v Andrew Raynes
Getting up, holding her ribs, Williams awaits her next opponent. Out comes “Wrestling’s Toughest Out” Andrew Raynes! The two friends shake hands but Raynes quickly pulls Williams into a clothesline to take an early advantage! Throwing a barrage of punches to the ribs and gut of Kimberley Williams, Raynes is able to keep the Woman Scorned off her game. He cuts her off any time she gets a strike in, not unwilling to rake the eyes or pull her hair to keep her at bay. Williams is seemingly unfazed by Andrew’s cold approach and keeps pressing forward, eventually nailing him with a big time super kick that knocks him out of the ring. As she climbs to the top rope, looking for some high flying dive, Raynes grabs a hold of her beloved Wasley stuffed penguin! Threatening to rip his head off, Raynes gives Wasley a good twist as Williams climbs down off the turnbuckle and pleads with him. Ordering Kimberley to back off, Raynes climbs into the ring and slowly places Wasley down on the ring apron as Williams breathes a sigh of relief, only to have Raynes baseball slide Wasley right into Williams’ face! The loaded stuffed animal knocks Kimberley off of her feet, and Raynes takes advantage of his fallen opponent by dragging her into the ring by her hair. A Shattered Glass slam leads to the 1-2-3 and we have a new television champion!
Winner: Andrew Raynes (New Television Champion)
Andrew Raynes (c) v Ichobed Thrasher
As Raynes looks to the entrance ramp for his next opponent, Ichobed Thrasher jumps out of the crowd and attacks him from behind! Nailing Andrew with a nasty chop block, Thrasher targets Raynes’ leg and knee with a series of kicks and leg locks. Andrew fights back and the two men brawl around the ring, neither one giving an inch. For every hard kick Ichobed lands, Raynes answers back with a fist. The two men are more evenly matched than most would expect due to their different styles but regardless, this is a fight. Thrasher tries everything in his power to make ground meat out of Raynes’ knee but Wrestling’s Toughest Out will not back down, nearly knocking Ichobed’s teeth out with a Game Changer elbow! As Thrasher struggles to maintain a waist lock, Raynes catches Ichobed between the legs before he drills him into the mat with the Shattered Glass to pull out a win! Raynes raises a single finger in the air, signifying the first of what he claims will be five successive defences.
Winner: Andrew Raynes (Still Television Champion)
Andrew Raynes (c) v Zara Walker
Zara Walker is out next and wastes little time as she hits the ring and nails unexpected Andrew Raynes with the Walker This Way! She goes for the pin but Raynes quickly rolls out of the ring. Walker follows up with a baseball slide that sends Andrew into the guardrails before firing away with a rush of punches and kicks. Raynes tries to push Zara away to get some space but she catches him with a one-handed bulldog that drives him face first into the floor. In an incredible display of strength, Walker picks Raynes up and delivers an Oklahoma Stampede using the guardrails and ring apron as points to slam him into before dropping him to the mats outside with a powerslam! The crowd loses its mind as Zara rolls her opponent back into the ring and goes for the cover. A kick out at two follows and Andrew cuts off Walker’s momentum with a kick to the chin, stunning her. He follows up with a Code to the Sith that slams her into the turnbuckle. Catching his breath for a moment, Raynes charges the corner, only to eat a boot from Zara as she then drops him to the mat with a lariat neckbreaker! Picking her opponent up, Walker calls for the Walk All Over You but Raynes is able to shift his weight and land behind her, before locking in the Caught in the Rayne! Andrew has it locked in tight as Zara reaches for the ropes but after a few moments, she taps to give the win to Raynes. He raises two fingers in the air. Could it be?
Winner: Andrew Raynes (Still Television Champion)
Andrew Raynes (c) v Travis Levitt
Next up was a rematch from LIVE! From Yonkers where Andrew Raynes got some assistance from the ropes to pin his opponent Travis Levitt. The two veterans waste little time and start the match off by throwing haymakers at one another. Levitt went back to his strategy from a few weeks back and started to hit a variety of suplexes and slams that focused in on Raynes’ back. Andrew was not going to go down without a fight and battled back, this time targeting Travis’ neck with multiple elbows. After a long exchange of strikes and slams, both men are frustrated at the lack of a lead and come nose to nose in the center of the ring. The crowd can feel the intensity pick up as the two men begin firing off a back and forth of clubbing blows that bring the crowd to its feet. Levitt rocks Raynes with the Phoenix Tear knee strike and goes for his Fawkes Fate hold but Andrew fights it off, catching Travis in the chin with a Game Changer elbow. Climbing to the top turnbuckle, Raynes calls for the Syndication but Levitt quickly hits the ropes and crotches Wrestling’s Toughest Out on the top rope. Hooking Raynes up, Levitt drives him head first into the mat with his Renee’s Rise brainbuster and goes for the pin but Raynes gets his foot on the ropes. As Levitt gets to his feet, Raynes sneaks behind him and rolls him up, again using his feet on the ropes like he did last time! The ref hits the mat with the three count as the crowd plea for some sort of justice. Levitt is furious as Raynes stares him down, slowly raising his fingers in the air and Levitt's face.. one, two, three, smirking in the process.
Winner: Andrew Raynes (Still Television Champion)
Andrew Raynes (c) v Sally Lambert
As the two-time champion stands in the ring, his next opponent, Sally Lambert, makes her way down to the ring! She slides into the ring and barely gets to her feet as she is nailed with the Caught in the Rayne (Tazzmission)! She holds on for a minute or two but eventually concedes for a quick victory as the crowd mumbles in shock as Sally is helped to the back. Four and counting for The Toughest Out.
Winner: Andrew Raynes (Still Television Champion)
BACKSTAGE
We momentarily cut to the backstage where Colin Moriarty stands looking rather annoyed with the night. The rules in place for the main event clearly annoyed him.
Colin Moriarty: “You think you’re gonna get away with it? You think you’re going to save Silas from me? I see what you’re doing, there’s a conspiracy to protect Silas Romero, a conspiracy to go against sweet sweet Koriand’r.”
Kore Violet would appear behind him as the hulking brute of a man wrapped his arm around the former champion.
Koriand’r: “We see the truth, but it isn’t going to matter in the slightest, because in the end, I’ll get my Undisputed Championship again…”
Colin Moriarty: “And you, dear Silas, are due an arse whipping sooner rather than later… maybe sooner, if all else works out. We’ll always find a way, don’t you worry.”
He grinned as Koriand’r returned a smile towards him, the two sharing a quick kiss before wandering off, leaving an ominous tone in the air as to what they had planned.

Andrew Raynes (c) v Sean Parker
Coming down the entrance ramp is “The King of the Skies” Sean Parker! Andrew Raynes has four successive defences to his name. He needs five to claim a shot at either the Brass Knuckles, Openweight or North American Title - a feat no man or woman has yet to achieve. The two men exchange a cold stare as they circle around the ring before locking up. Raynes is able to keep Parker on the ground with a series of slams and head locks as Sean tries his hardest at creating some space. Parker was able to counter a few of Raynes' moves but he quickly changed his position and took Sean down. This frustrated Parker, and after being dropped by a nasty Game Changer (Spinning Elbow), Sean slid out of the ring to regroup. After reentering the ring, Parker flies at Raynes with a series of quick strikes before nailing the Bloody Tears kick, taking Raynes off of his feet. Flying around the ring, Sean throws everything he has at the current Television Champion but Raynes is able to shift just enough to never take the full brunt of Parker’s offence. The experience factor playing a big part for Raynes as he is able to stay in this match as Parker flies through the air with dazzling speed and breathtaking moves. After holding off as much as he could, Andrew starts firing off a line of suplexes that keep Parker grounded for a portion of the match. Sean is able to catch him with a big Raidenrana that brought the crowd to their feet as Parker gets a close two count. Raynes is back on his feet and looks to lock in the Caught in the Rayne but Parker reverses it at the last second into an armdrag and as Raynes gets to his feet catches him with the Masamune Decapitation (Hidden Blade elbow strike to the face)! He makes the pin and its over. Parker is the new champion.
Winner: Sean Parker (New Television Champion)
Sean Parker (c) v Colin Moriarty
Colin Moriarty makes his way down to the ring as the fans boo the Pale Death. Offering a handshake, Colin shows his true colors by hitting Parker with a low blow before nailing his Storm Gets Closer combo for a two count. After that, Moriarty just lays into him with everything but the kitchen sink. Slam after slam, Colin cuts off Parker at every corner but Sean fights back with right hooks and uppercuts. After knocking his opponent out of the ring with his Shadowfall shoulder block, Moriarty hits the ropes and dives through the bottom and middle rope with a suicide dive! The crowd was not expecting that and when Colin tried to follow that up with his Kilkenny Driver on the floor, the crowd was semi-cheering. It was not meant to be as Parker countered out of the move and drove Moriarty to the ground with his Bloody Tears (720 Spinning Roundhouse Kick)! Dragging his opponent back into the ring, Parker waits in the corner as Colin stumbles to his feet. Turning around, Moriarty is dropped to the mat by the Blade of Miquella (Skull Kick - Step Spinning Hook Kick to the head! Moriarty is out cold, as Parker makes the count for his first, and an impressive, defence.
Winner: Sean Parker (Still Television Champion)
Up next is another Special Guest as the crowd look up at the entrance ramp in anticipation as ‘Demon’ by Savage Hands hits the speakers. It’s not a familiar sound to 5LW but most, if not all, the crowd know who’s coming, as out steps Lachlan Kane to a huge reception. Sean Parker applauds in respect, nodding his head in approval.
Sean Parker (c) v Lachlan Kane
Kane, the infamous trainer of Callie Renton, entered the ring and duly shook hands with Parker, a little jaded after the fight with Moriarty. But he pulled it together to put on a great encounter with the guest, who had the crowd on their feet throughout. Parker looked to be on his way out as Kane used his innate striking abilities to disorient his opponent. The commentators questioned what would happen if Lach were to leave with belt, or claim five defences, but despite dominating much of the match those questions didn't need to be answered as Parker rallied to pull off an impressive comeback and retain the title with a Leap of Faith (1080 Corkscrew Splash). Helping Kane to his feet they ended the fight on good terms, Parker raising his opponent's hand high in the air after a terrific match.
Winner: Sean Parker (Still Television Champion)
Sean Parker (c) v Tiffany Lynn Page
Defence number three for Parker as out comes the much maligned Tiffany Lynn Page. Parker had the crowd in the palm of his hands now, and if he wasn't one of the most popular wrestler's here already, he certainly was now. A victory over the loathed North American Champion would only increase that even more as he beckoned her to the ring. He took the fight straight to her, determined to give the crowd what they want, and make a name for himself against one of the leading figures in the company in doing so. Page got a few sneaky reversals in but failed to match her younger opponent's energy, as he ran rings around the veteran heel inside the ring. However, she always had a trick up her sleeve, and rolled out of the ring, luring Parker out to get her. She stood waiting on the outside as he launched himself through the ropes. Page stepped aside and Parker went crashing into the barricade. Clutching his shoulder in agony, he climbed to his feet only to be met by a superkick. Page tossed him back inside the ring but he wasn't done, coming back at her with his one arm. She whipped his injured one into the turnbuckle and as he stumbled forwards pulled him down for a roll up pinfall, a fistful of tights for leverage. Parker tried to kick out but Page held on while his shoulder couldn't withstand the pressure. Page leapt to her feet, as the first person to ever hold two titles at once in 5LW, she demanded her belts were handed to her instantly and threw them up in the air for everyone to see.
Winner: Tiffany Lynn Page (New Television Champion)
RINGSIDE
As Page celebrates with her two titles, the camera focuses on a group of people in a suite. Some of them may look familiar to some fans. A graphic comes across the TV feed that says #TeamTRIOCS in rainbow letters. Shown are the owner of The Ruin Institute of Combat Sports, Rylee Ruin, to her right holding her hand is her wife Ryn. And on her left is, her niece Ailyn Darrington and her husband Dax. Sitting in the row behind them are The Šatan's Radman and Timofey, Taylor Sweet and lastly Six Ryan and her Girlfriend Emily Agnelli.
Tiffany Lynn Page (c) v Arsyn Next
Team TRIOCS were clearly here in support of one person and one person only, as Arsyn Next comes out to a mixed reception. However, the camera cuts back to them jeering at ringside on the split screen, as she barely gets halfway down the ramp when Gabriel Landry & Marisol Vilaro jump the barricade to attack her! The TRIOCS try to come down themselves but as non-contracted wrestlers they're immediately stopped by security. It’s a two on one onslaught, as Page looks relaxed on the ropes, minding her own business to draw ire from the fans. Suddenly Travis Levitt comes rushing out to fight them both off, as Arsyn crawls to the ring. She valiantly fights off Page and the comeback is on but an eye rake from Page swings things back in her favour, reclaiming her crown with the Hottie Bomb (Powerbomb).
Winner: Tiffany Lynn Page (Still Television Champion)
Tiffany Lynn Page (c) v Callie Renton
Next up is Callie Renton, a long time adversary of Lynn Page, she points to the champion from the top of the entrance ramp, vowing to take her title. The crowd are hyped, the ever popular Renton acknowledging the reception as they chant her name. As she begins to walk down the ramp once again Landry and Vilaro are waiting but Callie stops in her tracks, just as they begin to advance. There's no fear in her face, the thought of a two or maybe even three on one fight of no concern. Why? Because she’s not alone. Out from back steps Lachlan Kane to a huge pop as Landry and Vilaro stop still in their tracks, not expecting anyone to have Renton’s back. Page steps out of the ring, fully aware she needs to get her hands dirty here, but there’s another cheer from the crowd as Sean Parker steps out from the back too, evening things up. The crowd are loving it as a three on three brawl breaks out on the entrance ramp, Renton and Vilaro, Landry and Parker, and Kane with Page. Renton disposes of Marisol after some back and forth, before lending a hand to Parker to send Landry over the barricade and into the crowd. Kane and Renton regroup, Lach giving a quick pep talk to Callie, as Parker advances on Page. The former champion of ten minutes prior is back between the ropes against the woman who controversially beat him, but just as he’s got her on the back foot Duke Andrews comes rushing to the ring and takes him out with a spear. Parker rolls to the outside as Duke sees to his woman but the Referee is ordering him out of the ring now as Renton is entering. Page uses the distraction to attack her and get an early advantage as Duke humbly exits the stage. Kane stays on the outside to ensure nobody interferes as the fight continues. Page disrupts an early advantage, killing any momentum with a kick to the midriff. She uses her experience to keep Renton at bay and try and wind down the clock, but with a minute to spare Renton surprises her with the Savage Daughter - Springboard Armdrag. With no time to waste she catches Page with a Crowned (Asai DDT) and follows up with The Heiress (Top Rope Corkscrew Stunner)! 'The Princess has taken the crown', yells the commentator, as the crowd chant along to the three count. Renton can’t believe it. It’s been a long road but she has Five Lakes gold in her hands, clutching the belt as Lachlan enters the ring to embrace her.
Winner: Callie Renton (New Television Champion)
Callie Renton (c) v Rose Spears
The celebrations don’t last too long as Rose Spears enters the fray. The commentators check their notes to remind themselves precisely who this is but can barely so much as reveal her height before Renton smashes her with a Starry Eyes (Reverted Rebound into a Black Mass Kick) for a first successful defence!
Winner: Callie Renton (Still Television Champion)
Callie Renton (c) v Blake Belladonna
Another relative unknown now as Belladonna hits the ring looking in fine shape. All those workouts stand for nothing though as she too is eliminated inside the one minute mark. The crowd are loving every minute of Callie’s dominance as she reels off two impressive wins in a matter of minutes. Next up though is the unknown, another special guest, as the crowd wait in anticipation.
Winner: Callie Renton (Still Television Champion)
‘Kill Caustic’ by AFI blasts over the speakers and out comes the Green Haired Doll. The Space Queen. The Big Green. Alien Superstar & Leader Of The Lost. The woman known across the wrestling world as Noa Skye! There had been rumours correlating she would be signing with the company and now she was here, making her debut, in a championship match no less.
Callie Renton (c) v Noa Skye
The crowd were on their feet for Noa who entered the ring as the two women immediately began circling one another. It was evident before the off that this potential defence was not going to be as easy as the last two for Renton. Skye was full of enthusiasm and smiles but didn’t waste time with any handshakes or formalities, locking up with the champion to get this underway. Callie struggled to match Noa’s energy at first, kicking out a close two count after a Running Corner DDT, but she picked herself up and gradually fought back in. Noa went for a Diving Senton to try and finish this one off but Callie rolled out of the way just in time. From there she knew there would not be many opportunities like this and seized the moment with the Broken Mold (Leaping Spin Kick) to reclaim her crown. The Brat Princess had three defences under her belt and was looking unbeatable at this point. However, the commentators were quick to remind everyone who is up next. A veteran of the game, with many, many accolades to his name. A man many feared, but a man she previously defeated nonetheless. Enter Duke Andrews.
Winner: Callie Renton (Still Television Champion)
Duke Andrews (c) v Callie Renton
Andrews returns to the ring, this time as the legal man, as he and Callie come face to face. Back in December these two squared off in an epic encounter that nobody gave Renton a hope of winning, but she surprised everyone that night with a decisive victory against the successful veteran. In the months that have passed she’s improved more and more, while Duke, if anything, has gotten older. The bell rang and they wasted no time getting into one another, back and forth with the right hands until Andrews got the upper hand. But Renton was straight back with a neat crossbody, as the fight bounced back and forth and back and forth, their differing styles causing each other no end of problems. Renton got a stronghold and looked set to retain, lining up another Top Rope Corkscrew, but Andrews was on his feet and sent her crashing to the mat with a Superplex! Slowly climbing to their feet he quickly capitalised with The Andrews Effect (One Winged Angel) to get the one, two, three!
Renton 1, Andrew 1. The blemish on his record had been avenged. Kane pulled Renton out the ring and to her feet, the crowd applauding, elated that she was a champion at last, if only for a brief moment in time. There’s no doubt this will be the start of great things in her career. Bigger and better things without question, but right now the Television Title sits with a new champion, and it'll be a tough task to take it from him.
Winner: Duke Andrews (New Television Champion)
Duke Andrews (c) v Flynn Howell
Howell and his relatives have trash talked just about everyone going in their short time with this company, and predictably came out together, accompanied by a chorus of jeers. Duke found himself in the slightly unusual position of the crowd favourite here as a great fight broke out between these two men. The Red Lock Legion were quick to get involved on every occasion possible, but a momentary distraction was enough to allow Andrews the advantage he needed to secure this, as Landry and Page returned to take out Scarlett and Corse from behind. With Flynn momentarily distracted he locked on the Goodnight Now! (Hells Gate submission) in the centre of the ring. Flynn tried valiantly to reach the ropes but Andrews was strong and held on long enough to the point he could take no more. A maiden defence for The American Rebel but almost certainly not the last we'll see of these groups inside the ring.
Winner: Duke Andrews (Still Television Champion)
Duke Andrews (c) v Jay Sinclair
Sinclair was the first ever man to hold this belt and the crowd were naturally pleased to see him return to the ring in a bid to reclaim it. He put Andrews under all kinds of trouble early on, as the experience between them shone through in a thrilling encounter. But a Crossroads (Leghook reverse DDT) from nowhere sealed this for Andrews as he notched up defence number two.
Winner: Duke Andrews (Still Television Champion)
Winner: Duke Andrews (Still Television Champion)
Duke Andrews (c) v Tinsley Nolan
Nolan recently challenged Duke’s beau for the North American Title, and remains hungry for a taste of championship gold, entering the ring with eager anticipation. Her speed and agility was tough for The Top Heel to contend with at first but he weathered an early storm to claw this one back and pass a third difficult test in succession with another Andrews Effect (One Winged Angel)! Could he go all the way? Up next was a man who had challenged TWICE for this belt, losing on both occasions. Duke took a moment to get his breath back, before beckoning his next opponent to come on down and challenge for his title.
Winner: Duke Andrews (Still Television Champion)
Duke Andrews (c) v Chris Styles
Chris Styles comes out from the back, not quite looking his usual pumped up self. It’s clear that he’s lacking confidence from yet another failed title opportunity last time out. Now he finds himself facing another top tier wrestler with the same belt on the line. Defeat here, a second in a row, and a third in total for this championship, would not look good for his record. And with the experienced, wildly successful Duke stood in his way, it’s safe to say the the odds were hugely stacked against him here. He entered the ring and no sooner was he through the ropes Duke attacked him, pounding him to the mat with brute force. Duke knew Styles was the fresher man - a strong, athletic wrestler that given the chance would match him in size and strength. His game plan was to keep him down and not give him the light of day, bullying him around the ring and working away on his back in the process. But as the clock wore on Styles started fighting back. A few right hooks got Andrews on the back foot as the two heavyweights started pounding away at one another. Styles looked out of it once more but came right back with a belly to belly suplex, sending Duke flying across the ring like he was nothing! The crowd were on their feet, as Styles went for the STYLES CRUSH (Clothesline From Hell)! But Duke saw it coming and ducked, he kicked Styles in the midsection and whipped him into the ropes, as Styles came back towards him, but Styles ducked too and bounced off the other side. Duke had no time to react and this time he connected! STYLES CRUSH! He dropped to the floor and hooked the champion's leg.. ONE! TWO! THREE! CHRIS STYLES IS A CHAMPION!
He can’t believe it, hugging the belt as it's handed to him. It's been a long road. Years of ups and down and failed attempts, but he's finally done it. The crowd are cheering but there isn't long to celebrate.. no sooner has he won the thing he's got to defend it. Not only that, it was someone who wanted to beat him more than anybody else in this business. A man who was called his name out for three long months. Style's journey could be over before it begins.
Winner: Chris Styles (New Television Champion)
Chris Styles (c) v Journeyman Phillips
‘The Day is My Enemy’ pounds around the arena. This one has been a long time coming, months of insults, mainly from Phillips, and back of forth, but finally they meet in the ring, one on one. Phillips comes out to a hostile reception, and steps through the ropes as the two come face to face but the veteran gets a cheap shot in as the match gets underway. The experienced Phillips takes advantage of his early hit and starts beating Styles around the ring, verbally threatening to take his title and humiliate him in front of his fans. He goads the crowd as the fight continues but Styles starts fighting back, much to the old man’s surprise. He’s back on top now and hits a Double Arm DDT, reversing Phillips' London Eye (Tilt o Whirl Backbreaker) in the process. He locks on the Overdose (Ankle Lock), both men screaming out with adrenaline. Phillips can see his career disappearing before his eyes, in what will surely be one of, if not THE final match of his career, while Styles is determined to retain his title. Phillips etches closer and closer to the ropes, and it looks like he's going to get the break but Styles pulls him back at the last last second to the centre of the ring as Journeyman pounds the mat in agony, conceding defeat, as Styles throws his arms in the air in celebration before slumping into the corner of the ring in exhaustion. Is that it? Is he leaving the ring tonight as champion, or is there one final hurdle to overcome?
Winner: Chris Styles (Still Television Champion)
Jack McGrath v Chris Styles (c)
With nobody sure if McGrath will return there’s an audible silence, as Styles tried to catch his breath. Suddenly his music hits and Patient Zero stands atop the entrance ramp ready to go back to war, and ready to reclaim his title. The backstage brawls with Cheetah Mancini are visible across his torso and face, blood and bruises from the battle's he's already endured throughout the evening. But despite the scars he appears re-energised and focused on the man in front of him, the man he had beaten just 14 days ago, no less. Styles has just had two difficult back to back matches. He’s tired, he can barely stand as McGrath approaches the ring. This is going to be easy for the talented McGrath, right? We’ve had a great night, but the man who came with the belt is going to leave with it. He picks him up and stares into Styles weary eyes. This is easy prey. But no. Styles ducks the right arm and starts fighting back. It’s back and forth, right hook after right hook. McGrath smiles a wicked grin. He wanted a fight and he's got one, as they wrestle each other onto the outside of the ring. McGrath puts Styles through the commentary table, who responds minutes later with a big boot, sending him over the barricade. Both men wearily make their way back to the ring and the fight continues. McGrath hits a Fatal Dose (Hangman's neckbreaker) but only gets a two count, as Styles connects with his Styles Crush finisher (Clothesline From Hell), only for McGrath to kick out at the last split second. McGrath regains control and lines up his Things Fall Apart (Vertical Drop Brainbuster) but Styles gets free and hits another Styles Crush. The crowd are on their feet as he slumps himself over McGrath's bruised body. He barely has energy to hook the leg as the Referee makes the count. One, Two, Three!
Winner: Chris Styles (Still Television Champion)
Chris Styles hasn’t only won a championship tonight, but he’s beaten two of the toughest men in the business to retain it. He overcame the experienced, and highly acclaimed Duke Andrews, before defeating his rival, the hard hitting veteran in Journeyman Phillips. Beaten to within inch of his life, he then had to pick himself back up and overcome a fresh Jack McGrath, a man many wouldn't even want to be in the ring with, let alone back to back bouts intense championship wrestling. There were many winners tonight, many people who can leave the arena with their heads held high, but only one was leaving with the Television Title, and that was 'The Juggernaut' Chris Styles.
After the celebrations and chaos of the gauntlet there was a quick commercial for the North American Title match next week. Following that, there was a brief split screen for Silas Romero and Kore Violet followed by a third split with Vanessa Reckless through the middle in her Referee gear, with her Undisputed Title slung across her shoulder.
Undisputed Title No. 1 Contender Match
Silas Romero v Kore Violet
With Vanessa Reckless as Special Guest Ref
With Vanessa Reckless as Special Guest Ref
Vanessa came out first to a huge jeer, parading her belt around the place in her skimpy Referee attire. She handed it over to the ring announcer, threatening him of what’s to come if anything happened to it. The challengers to her title soon followed, with Violet naturally given a volatile reception, as Romero was given the backing of the crowd to win this contest. Nessa and Romero, far from being friends, have at least shown each other an element of respect in years gone by. While herself and Kore, long time adversary’s now, have practically pleaded for a one on one contest, effectively dismissing the rest of the roster as beneath their respective levels. Frank James was playing with fire putting her in the middle of these two, also rivals, knowing she would have to effectively choose her own challenger. Would she call it down the middle? Did she see one as weaker, or less of a threat, than the other? Hardly likely, given she had mockingly called for them to face her in the coming weeks. All would become clear in the coming moments though, as Kore and Romero stared one another down across the ring waiting for the bell. Moriarty might be banned from ringside but Violet didn’t reign as Undisputed Champion for 116 days by accident. She was more than capable of matching anyone she came up against, EVEN the highly regarded Silas Romero. Romero though, for all his words and charisma, was intensely focused on the job at hand as things got underway. Kore got an early advantage as Nessa jumped to the mat for a ridiculously quick three count, but Romero kicked out. He didn’t get time to complain as Violet continued the onslaught but Romero fought back in and hit Kennedy Curse (Busaiku Knee Kick). He too was given a ludicrously fast count by Vanessa, who was intent on having her own fun and playing mind games with both individuals. As the match wore on both wrestlers came close to winning this, kicking out of one another’s finishers in the process. However, there was a sting in the tail here as Noa Skye came out ring. Skye, a perceived ally of both Romero - and to a lesser extent Kore - made her way to the announcers table and began hyping herself, and the match, with the team. Meanwhile Kore was looking to seal this with her infamous #BiteClub, a Slingblade from the second turnbuckle, but was attacked by Skye as she set things up. Tumbling to the mat she picked herself up and turned to face the culprit, but it was enough to let Romero back in. Kore complained to Vanessa about the interference, adamant she should be given the win by disqualification but whether Reckless saw it, or was choosing to ignore it, was anyone’s guess, as Romero quickly locked on the Arkham Asylum (Arm-Trapped Crossface Submission) from behind in the centre of the ring. Violet was miles from the ropes but gradually began clawing herself closer for the break, but each time Romero pulled her back in until she could take no more, tapping the mat furiously. Vanessa, in true heel fashion, ignored her cries at first, ensuring there was more punishment inflicted for a brief few seconds before sounding the bell.
Winner: Silas Romero (New Number 1 Contender for the Undisputed Title)
Noa Skye exited the commentary table and pointed and winked at her friend Romero from the outside of the ring, who sent it right back. Vanessa picked up her title and stood across the ring from Romero, who joked that she should raise his hand, but she wasn’t interested. Romero pointed at her title and said he was coming for it, to which she replied ‘You and everybody else.’ The stare down continued as the night came to a close.
