LIVE! From Buffalo
Monday 18th March
IN THE RING
The show began with Frank James coming out to the ring. The crowd were always interested in what he had to say and tonight he was carrying a championship belt wrapped neatly around his arm. This was the Junior Heavyweight Title and he was excited to announce that it would be active in Five Lakes Wrestling very soon. He had selected two talented wrestlers to compete for the right to become inaugural champion, but as of right now he was looking forward to seeing which other men and women come to the fore in this division. After enough hype and stalling he announced that 'The King of the Skies' Sean Parker and former Tag Team Champion 'Top G' Gabriel Landry will face one another in two weeks time, at LIVE! From Reading.
TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
Chris Styles (c) v [The man who likes to call himself] TATER
New champion Styles was given a great reception after his impressive showing in the Gauntlet last week. Tater, as always, was given a great reaction from the crowd, himself coming up just slightly short in his last outing. They shook hands and immediately got into things. Tater dominated the early minutes with his combination of strength and speed, but his chaotic style allowed Style's back in with a neat Powerslam. After some hard-hitting Suplexes he floored his challenger with a Clothesline From Hell, but remarkably Tater kicked out. With both men back on their feet Tater hit a Powerbomb that somehow Style's kicked out of too. The ten minute timer eventually ran out leaving everyone disappointed and wanting more.
Winner: No contest [Chris Styles retains the Television Title]
IN THE RING/POST-MATCH
The crowd were eager for this to continue, as were the wrestler's themselves, but the Referee was having none of it. Eventually Frank James came out and said it was great to see these two men finally competing for titles here, and like everyone else would love to see more of this match up. However, with more fights to take place that couldn't happen tonight. So next week he scheduling a REMATCH, again for the Television Title. Only this time there would be no time limits, and NO HOLDS BARRED!

BACKSTAGE
After a quick commercial break we see Frank James walking through the corridors back to his office. He greets a few of the wrestlers and ring crew before being confronted by Gwen Margolis. This was already turning out to be a busy evening for the General Manager, and Gwen wanted to know what he was going to do about the fact she was screwed out of her Tag Team Championship with Monty a few weeks back. Gwen suggested he gives her a rematch - Monty was in the building, and if Chelsea LeClair was too, they could make it happen tonight! James said there were many people in line for shot at those belts, and he wasn't in the business of fixing every controversial decision in Five Lakes Wrestling. Tonight was a good opportunity to show why she deserved it though. Gwen said she would give him no alternative but to make the match happen in Philadelphia.
SINGLES MATCH
Gwen Margolis v Myra Rivers
Margolis was still bitter about the controversy surrounding her Tag Team Title loss a few weeks back. While Rivers, along with Chelsea LeClair, who claimed the titles themselves later that night, were eager to remove any talk of negativity around their achievements. Veteran Rivers got the early advantage but was a bit too over zealous in wanting to upstage the outspoken Margolis, ultimately falling to a Texas Twist (Swinging leg hook fireman’s carry slam) for an impressive win by the young Texan.
Winner: Gwen Margolis
SINGLES MATCH
Jack McGrath v Griffin Hawkins
Former Television Champion McGrath showed no emotion as the popular Hawkins made his entrance, but it was evident from the off he took him very seriously, cautiously keeping the Jukebox Hero at bay with with strength and power. Hawkins though was eager to get back in the title scene and knew a victory here against the up and coming McGrath would go a long way to securing that. Keen to impress, he took a couple of risks that ultimately didn't pay off. McGrath was not one to let it go unpunished, stealing a march here on his own title aspirations with two Fatal Dose's (Hangman's neckbreaker) inside a few minutes of each other to get the win.
Winner: Jack McGrath
BACKSTAGE
Myra Rivers was with interviewer Emma Harrington. She was disappointed with the defeat, but refused to let it get her down. It was one loss at the end of the day, and she had achieved a lot in her career to not let these things get to her. Asked about Gwen's pursuit of their titles, she promised that her and LeClair were ready to take on anybody that came their way. She said she understands where Gwen is coming from, but unlike her she doesn't get too emotional about these things. If the boot was on the other foot she would want a rematch too, but they won their titles through hard work and determination, and if her and Monty were their opponents in the final the outcome would have been EXACTLY the same. Whoever's stood in front of them in Philadelphia will face the same treatment and her and Chelsea will retaining their titles!
MAIN EVENT
NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH
Tiffany Lynn Page (c) v Jessi Ozborne v Marisol Vilaro
A first North American Title for Page since overcoming Callie Renton back in January, and as expected her and Vilaro worked in tandem to make this a handicap match for challenger Ozborne. What looked set to be a very quick defence for the now longest reigning champion was scuppered by an incredible fightback from Jessi, who fended them both off for large periods of the match. She hit a God's Revolver (Skull Kick) on Page and was seconds away from adding another title to her long list of achievements, but Vilaro broke the pin at the last second. The two allies were back on top now and Vilaro, the fresher of the two, began dishing out the punishment, but again Ozborne kicked back with a Bangarang (Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick), Page again the recipient. But Vilaro was on hand to ensure Ozborne didn't follow it through, and hit her Crunch Time (Natural Selection) finisher. Vilaro stood momentarily looking down at the wounded and badly beaten Ozborne, as Page lay across the ring, barely conscious. She dropped down and hooked the leg, as the Referee counted, one.. two.. three! New champion! Vilaro was handed the belt, and sheepishly raised it in the air. Page slowly pulled herself to feet, and looked down at Ozborne, then looked at Vilaro with the belt - HER belt - who by now had her music echoing around the arena. Vilaro stepped through the ropes and exited, not really sure what else to do, as Page stood in the ring, complaining to the Referee, as the night to a close.
Winner: Marisol Vilaro (New North American Champion)
