LIVE! From Allentown
Monday 25th March
PRE-SHOW FOOTAGE
We go to footage that took place earlier in the day. It looks to be downtown near the Allentown Market. We then see Griffin Hawkins down the street, dressed in his usual leather jacket and ripped blue jeans. He notices the camera man and speaks.
Griffin Hawkins: Ladies and Gentlemen...welcome to Jukebox Country! We're right here in the heart of Allentown...the third largest city in Pennsylvania. As much as I would want to sight see around here, maybe hop on down to the Schaefer Beer brewery...I am in town on business...and that business is to a crack in the skull Andrew Garrison so wide it'll put the Liberty Bell to shame. On this night, he returns after being away for so long..and he wants to make a name for himself at my expense.
He begins walking as his hands are in his coat pockets.
Griffin Hawkins: I gotta say Andy...for someone who calls himself Woken, you sure are putting people to sleep with your whiny attitude. I mean time and time again you keep pissing, moaning, complaining, downright crying because you're not being booked. Jesus Christ bro, take the needle off that broken record and play a new song! I get it...you're overlooked. That's understandable. But you walk around 5 Lakes like everyone owes you something..like the whole world should just roll over and hand you whatever you want on a silver platter. Like Alejandro Rivera..you act like a spoiled child who throws a tantrum anytime you don't get what you want. Last November when we were in the ring together in a tag match..you laid out your own partner Tater and walked out on him..demanding that you should be in the title picture.
He shakes his head.
Griffin Hawkins: That's your whole problem man...you want this, you want that, but you're expecting it to be given to you. You've been off the 5LW radar for months now...but at any time you could've came out and demanded competition live on air. This is what we do for a living. But no...you think if you just sit on your ass people will give it to you..and when you don't get it you stomp your feet. Well now..you got competition. You and me one on one and we're gonna fight right here in Allentown. Like Russell Jr and Nyamabayar strapping their gloves on for their famous fight...we're gonna lace our boots up and we're gonna go to work. But I have a question for you Andy..
He looks straight at the camera, stopping in his tracks.
Griffin Hawkins: Just how the hell are me and Chris Styles protected? How are we getting special treatment over you? When Styles got here he had just about half the locker room mocking him because of his positive attitude, projecting their own insecurities onto him..and he ended up becoming champion by outlasting the best in 5LW. I myself had to earn my opportunity at the Openweight Title and I beat Rivera for it. And believe me, me and him are gonna fight for the title again whether his chickenshit ass likes it or not and I'll be a two time Openweight Champion..but in what way am I and Styles being protected? It sounds more like jealousy and bitterness because me and Chris made the best of our opportunities and became champion while you never got those opportunities because you refuse to put in the work. I got news for you...tonight, nobody is going to protect you from me when I beat you one two three in the middle of the ring.
He puts his hands back in his pockets.
Griffin Hawkins: Daylight is fading slowly...our match is just about here. It's gonna be you and me one on one for the first time ever. After months of bitching about not having real competition, not getting booked, being overlooked by just about everybody, you finally get your wish. We're gonna fight one on one...and only one of us is gonna leave with their hand raised...and if I got anything to do with it, it's gonna be me. So get ready Andy Boy...because the Woken One...is gonna get rocked!
He walks away as the camera man gets one last shot of the city before we fade to black.
OPENING BOUT
BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE NO. 1 CONTENDERS MATCH
Kimberley Williams v Jack McGrath
Kimberley came out first and was given a ridiculously huge reception, being handed weapons along the way by the crowd. She already had in her possession a staple gun, an infinity gauntlet and a barbed wire wrapped Wasley, and tossed the many foreign objects into the ring one by one. By contract McGrath came out holding nothing, seemingly content with making use of his own arsenal and whatever was around him instead. When the match got underway Williams put him on the back foot using the plethora of items she had accumulated. A bloody McGrath fought back though, using some hard chops and Suplexes onto the objects she had scattered across the canvas to his disposal. Williams came back in with a face full of chilli powder someone had handed to her, and looked set to take advantage of a temporarily blinded McGrath but he recovered in time to reverse her moves into his own own Fatal Dose (Hangman's neckbreaker) and rescue an unlikely win. The crowd were furious, despite the perfectly clean finish from McGrath, and chanted Williams name over him music, irritating him throughout.
Winner: Jack McGrath (New Number One Contender to the Brass Knuckles Title)
BACKSTAGE
We cut to the backstage area where several wrestlers are crowded around Frank James. Amongst them are Sean Parker, Duke Andrews, Silas Romero and Ichabod Thrasher. They’re arguing with him, and each other. They all want to face Flynn Howell. Gabriel Landry is also there. He jokes that there won’t be anything left of Flynn after their match, if they’re lucky though he’ll leave them a piece. James tells them go away and focus on their own matches.
SINGLES MATCH
DEBUT SHOWCASE
Ginny Kayl v Ryn Ruin
Two debutants here and both were eager to get off to winning ways. Ryn hit a nice Butterfly Suplex for a close two count but Ginny recovered well to land a Curtain Drop (arm-wrench leading to a Famousser). She signalled to the crowd that she was ready to finish off her wounded opponent, and lined up the Kaylamity (Backstabber immediately transitioned into a rear-naked choke) but Arsyn, who was stood on the outside of the ring, pulled her foot from behind and sent her tumbling to the canvas. Back on her feet she leaned over the ropes looking to get revenge but the distraction was enough to let Ryn back in, who stole the win with a Closeline from Hell she calls Dream Street.
Winner: Ryn Ruin
BACKSTAGE
Heading backstage with Emma Harrington holding a microphone here for the show. Standing behind her is the Red Lock Legion with Flynn standing in the middle closest to Emma, Scarlett to the left and Corsen finding herself a bit tucked behind Emma.
Emma Harrington: Here with the Howell’s who tonight compete in two separate matches. First we have Corsen and Scarlett competing in tag team action, how are you two feeling?
Emma seems to extend the question to them first on purpose, given Flynn’s eagerness to be up front but he doesn’t move instead choosing to step up.
Flynn Howell: They are going to dominate them but in my match? Against Gabriel I am going to destroy this guy. You see all these fans? They don’t realize what their ticket stubs say. They say they are subject to change.
Flynn takes a beat to let that sit with the crowd.
Flynn Howell: They say that because even though matches like Gabriel versus Sean Parker get announced, it doesn’t mean they are going to happen. After tonight Duke and Tiffany’s errand boy is going to leave injured. And the company will have no choice but to put me in the match. So I don’t want everyone whining because it says this can all happen right there on your little ticket.
Flynn smirks as he allows Emma to pull back the microphone this time she extends it further so Scarlett can speak.
Scarlett Howell: Against Hook and Grapple we know they are a good team, they are scary to look at. On paper they are the favorites to win for sure, but…We are here to win and we expect to do just that. The Red Lock Legion is coming out of here with two wins tonight. Let’s go.
Scarlett leads the team away with Corsen as usual the forgotten member when it comes to her voice as Flynn takes a second to look at himself in the camera before walking off.

LOWER MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Cozy Kazama v Sally Lambert
Debuting Cozy Kazama quickly got on the wrong side of the crowd with some general shithousery and verbal abuse towards the front row fans, before landing a cheap shot on his opponent before the bell. From there he took control of the match though, sealing the win with a COZYPLEX - Doomsday Saito/Backdrop Driver.
Winner: Cozy Kazama
LOWER MID CARD
TAG TEAM MATCH
Hook//Grapple v Red Lock Region (Scarlett & Corsen Howell)
Debuting Archie Collins and Raymond Blackwood came with a good reputation, but Red Lock Legion have made a name for themselves in their short time here (albeit mostly via Flynn's online interactions). Flynn himself was on the outside, and caused a constant distraction for the newcomers throughout. Corsen & Scarlett showed great chemistry, as expected, but were ultimately undone by a double Suplex on Corsen folllwed by a Powerbomb from Collins, on this occasion.
Winner: Hook//Grapple
BACKSTAGE
Andrew Garrison was backstage with Frank James. He said it was a joke that the fans were having to witness Chris Styles & Tater fight again. Especially Styles. He demanded a chance to get in the ring with them. Tonight. James declined but promised him an opportunity to fight the winner next week, for the Television Title.
LOWER MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Arsyn Next v Zara Walker
Next had an impressive debut against Indie Legends but came up short, albeit controversially, in the Gauntlet. Zara was chasing her first win and after a slow start switched things up instinctively to seal this with a Piledriver. She celebrated with the fans as Arsyn pounded the mat in frustration.
Winner: Zara Walker
LOWER MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Callie Renton v Indie Legends
These two have gone back and forth online, with Legends insulting the Renton family name on several occasions. Renton took her frustrations out on the self proclaimed America’s Favourite Wrestler, playing into Indie’s hands, who got under her skin even more and secured the win with a sly roll up via a fist full of tights, mocking the irate Brat Princess as she exited the ring.
Winner: Indie Legends
BACKSTAGE
Journeyman Phillips came out to the ring. He was dressed in street clothes and said he had an announcement to make. Recent results have made him realise that his 30 plus years in this business have taken their toll, and he could no longer give his best. He was formally announcing his retirement, although he would see out his remaining commitments, primarily with the NAWL, and the Undying Art of Battle. He thanked the fans but said the journey was not officially over. Next time they see him it’ll just be Nigel Phillips. And there will be a next time. That he can promise them. He was given a mixed reception as he walked to the back.
MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Mikaela Callaway v Marisol Vilaro
Callaway was chasing her first win and with the deplorable, newly crowned, North American champion standing in her way, this was going to be a tall order. Vilaro, with Landry on the outside, pulled out all the usual tricks but Callaway remained composed and when she did get a chance she duly took it, winning with an Adrenaline Rush (450 Splash) for a huge win against a reigning champion.
Winner: Mikaela Callaway
IN THE RING
Tiffany Lynn Page came out and jumped up on the ropes to goad Callaway. Mikaela was not one to hold back and swung at Page but Landry and Vilaro jumped her from behind. Soon after Kimberley Williams came rushing to the ring with her barbed wire wrapped Wasley and chased them off. After helping Mikaela to her feet she got on the mic and challenged the three of them to a match in two weeks against the Queens of Chaos - herself, Mikaela and Jessi Ozborne. Page joked that they weren’t on their level but Landry stepped in and accepted the match.
MID CARD
TELEVISION TITLE MATCH
NO HOLDS BARRED
NO TIME LIMITS
Chris Styles (c) v Tater
A rematch from last week but this time out there had to be a winner. Andrew Garrison came out to watch this on commentary and was hugely disapproving of his potential opponents, especially Styles. When the match got underway Tater seemed more at home with these barbaric conditions. But Styles was equally as adept and made use of what was around him. The fight made its way around the ring and through the crowd before ending up back in the ring where Tater stunned the champion with a surprise MASHER-BOMB (Pop-up Sitout Elevated Powerbomb) pinning Styles after to pick up his first title in Five Lakes Wrestling. Garrison scoffed before pulling himself from the booth up to tell Tater he was coming for him.
Winner: Tater (New Television Champion)
BACKSTAGE
Gabriel Landry was backstage ahead of his match with Flynn Howell. He don’t want to talk about tonight. Flynn was nothing but a keyboard warrior. This was going to be a nice warm up. After that he was going to ensure his name was on that new Junior Heavyweight Title. Nobody could stop him and his allies from dominating this company.
MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Gabriel Landry v Flynn Howell
Landry looked like he was going to back up his bold claims with a dominating early start but his hubris served to be his downfall when he took his time to finish off Flynn when he had the chance, instead ‘reminding the fans’ who the first Junior Heavyweight Champion was going to be. Flynn hit a Russian Legsweep followed by a Sitout Suplex Slam for a first singles win. Not just satisfied with the win he got into Landry's face and the camera's after, declaring himself the best Junior Heavyweight in the company.
Winner: Flynn Howell
POST-MATCH
After the match Ichabod Thrasher came out onto the trance ramp. He was wearing his ‘I AM FLYNNS STEPFATHER’ t-shirt. Flynn offered him a chance to come down the ring and fight him but Thrasher wasn’t going to do that. Landry was on his feet now and attacked Flynn from behind, as Thrasher laughed from the top of the ramp and exited.
MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Andrew Garrison v Griffin Hawkins
Garrison has a Television Title shot lined up next week but wasn’t looking past Griffin Hawkins. Hawkins did well to work around Garrison’s size and strength with an array of technical and aerial moves. Garrison wasn’t getting a look in as Hawkins, eager to get back int he title hunt, put on a wrestling clinic. Garrison though was hard to pin down and after a series of two counts hit a low blow. The Referee cautioned him but Garrison didn’t care, tossing the official over the ropes and onto the outside securing an immediate disqualification before continuing the beat down on Hawkins. Chris Styles then came rushing to the ring but Garrison exited, more interested in the mind games this time than getting into it.
Winner: Griffin Hawkins (by disqualification)
BACKSTAGE
Ichabod Thrasher as backstage now talking himself up with Emma Harrington. He was ready to take more names, and cement himself as the young legend. Nobody was better than him. He might not win every week, nobody does, but the cream always rises to the top. Griffin Hawkins then came walking past, still reeling from his match. Thrasher suggested that maybe he was next in line. He had already retired one old man in Journeyman Phillips, maybe he would send Hawkins back to the 1980s too. Hawkins said he’d probably won more titles than Thrasher has eaten hot dinners, and that if he wanted to step in the ring with a real legend he knew where to find him.
UPPER MID CARD
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH MATCH
Ichobod Thrasher v Travis Levitt v Duke Andrews
Thrasher has declared himself a young legend, and relishes the opportunity to add more high profile names to his resume. But tonight was probably a step too far with Duke Andrews standing in his way. However, this ménage a trois was a lively one, and while Duke seemed happy fighting them both he couldn’t secure the necessary pin to get it over the line. Thrasher took advantage of the situation and sent him tumbling to the outside with a drop kick before seizing the moment with his unusually named Peggy, Call the Police (Imanari Roll into Heel Hook). After mockingly bowing to the crowd he looked up to the top of the entrance ramp to see Hawkins giving a sarcastic round of applause. ‘You’re next’ called Thrasher.
Winner: Ichabod Thrasher
BACKSTAGE
Callie Renton was backstage with Emma Harrington. She had already put tonight's loss behind her. She was magnanimous in defeat and said Indie didn't win, if anything she lost. She let her emotions get the better of her and tonight was a learning curve. Next time the outcome will be different, and she remains focused on capturing her next singles title, specifically the North American Championship.

SINGLES MATCH
Sean Parker v Andrew Raynes
Parker has a Junior Heavyweight Title shot next week but faces an entirely different prospect in former champion Raynes. Two weeks ago these two met in the gauntlet with Parker pulling off a remarkable win that denied Raynes the first ever, and all important, five successful defences. This time around it was a different story, with Parker’s speed and agility shining through early. But a resolute Raynes showed why he’s called The Toughest Out, rallying back impressively to win with a Shattered Glass (Leaping Reverse STO).
Winner: Andrew Raynes
IN THE RING
Sean Parker pulled himself to his feet and asked for a mic. With Raynes on top of the ramp he signalled for the music to stop. Raynes turned around. Parker congratulated him, but said technically that makes it 1-1. At the next opportunity they should run it back for a third time. The crowd cheered as Raynes agreed before leaving. Parker stayed inside the ring though and said he wasn't happy with his recent performances. The crowd cheered. He vowed to put his recent defeats to the back of his mind and focus on the Junior Heavyweight Title match. That belt was made for him and he wasn't called The King of the Skies for nothing.
UPPER MID CARD
SINGLES MATCH
Chelsea LeClair v Gwen Margolis
Margolis overcame LeClair’s tag team partner last week, and remains vocal about her quest to regain the belts she controversially lost several weeks ago. LeClair though has been quick to quash any negativity around her and Myra’s reign. They won their belts fair and square, and remain ready for any challengers that come their way. By beating Margolis she had hoped to put this to rest but after some flashy aerial dynamics, including a Jumping Cutter, Gwen began fighting back. A good back and forth ensued that had the crowd on their feet. But it was Gwen that got this one over the line with a neat Texas Twist (Swinging leg hook fireman’s carry slam) that LeClair failed to come back from.
Winner: Gwen Margolis
IN THE RING
Gwen was on her way out to the back but stopped half way, returning to get a couple of microphones. LeClair was climbing to her feet and as she stood she came face to face with Margolis who handed her one. Gwen said she had beaten Chelsea, and she has beaten Myra, and now she wants what’s rightfully hers. A shot at the Tag Team Titles. Everyone knows that her and Monty were screwed out of their belts. Chelsea says they won their titles fair and square, it's not her problem they let their guard down and got beat that night. Her and Myra go way back, but on their first night as a team they won three matches and nobody can take that away from them. Gwen didn’t disagree but said things would have been different if they weren’t cheated in the first round. Chelsea smirked. You want your shot, you got it, she said. Next week we'll see see who the better team is.
HEADLINER
TAG TEAM TURMOIL MATCH
FOR THE OPENWEIGHT AND BRASS KNUCKLES TITLES
The Rogues Gallery v Ryan Samuels (c) & Alejandro Rivera (c)
Rivera and Samuels made their entrances separately and stood apart, barely acknowledging one another, before staring down the Rogues as they made their entrance. With their stolen belts wrapped around their waists it didn’t take much to motivate the champions and they didn’t bother waiting for them to enter the ring as things got quickly underway. Samuels and Silvera took the fight up the ramp way leading to some heavy slams on the steel. While Rivera and Kasiano began brawling around the outside of the ring, with the challenger eventually putting Papi through the commentary table with an Alabama Slam. The Disciples of Catch Death had the natural edge, working together to ensure they remained on top for the most of this match. Samuels was as good as done at one stage following a Backpack Stunner-Single Leg Dropkick combination they call Cosmetics Tested on Animals. But Rivera was on hand to break the pin and clean house. One on one now with Kasiano again he landed the Capital Punishment (Wrist Clutch Burning Hammer). Silvera was on the ring apron ready to make the save but a rejuvenated Samuels sent him packing with a Lariat, ensuring the titles were safely returned to the original holders.
Winner: Ryan Samuels & Alejandro Rivera
IN THE RING
Rivera and Samuels were handed their titles and stopped briefly to catch a breath. There was an awkward moment where they looked across the ring at one another. They would never see eye or eye but for the sake of their own careers they had put things to one side tonight and got the job done. As Rivera went to leave Samuels pulled him back as Rivera turned to face him. Chest puffed out he braced himself ready for a fight but Samuels raised his hand in the air. Rivera showed no emotion at first, pulling his hand away. But as he turned to walk away Samuels dropped him to the mat with a hard hitting Lariat. The crowd began to jeer the Midwest Nightmare who picked up his belt and laughed. He picked up Rivera’s too and slung it over his shoulder, looking at both belts draped across his sweaty torso, before tossing it back down onto Rivera's wounded body.
BACKSTAGE
Indie Legends was with Emma Harrington. She says its laughable Renton can lay claim to challenging for the North American Title. She should be the one getting a shot, as American's Favourite Wrestler. Harrington, always willing to play devil's advocate, said Renton has beaten a lot of top wrestlers in her time here, and one defeat doesn't reflect her journey. Arsyn Next then entered the fray. She said it was only a few weeks ago she beat Indie. If anyone it should be her. In comes Zara Walker, who won tonight, and claimed form is everything. She should be the one challenging. Renton then enters herself. She's a former TV champion, and she beat the reigning North American champion in the process. Something Arysn failed to do, and something none of them achieved in the Gauntlet. Frank James stepped in. It was easy to settle this. Next week all four will square off, and the winner gets a shot against Marisol Vilaro for the title.

MAIN EVENT
TAG TEAM TURMOIL MATCH
Colin Moriarty & Kore Violet v The Reckless Dollz v Silas Romero & Noa Sky
In two weeks time Romero will get his shot at Vanessa Reckless for the Undisputed Title. That opportunity was thanks in part to his Midnight Demon Club partner in Noa Skye. Reckless and Violet have pined for each other for almost six months now, dancing around one another in tag and multiperson matches but are still yet to square off in one on one action. Now Romero has his shot that fight may never happen, certainly for the Undispited Championship. Nevertheless they find themselves all the in same ring tonight, their partners in tow, for this chaotic Main Event. Moriarty couldn’t wait to get his hands on Romero, while Noa was eager to test herself against the champion. Rowen and Kore locked up as the match spilled to all corners of the ringside area. As it worse on Nessa and Rowen began working in tandem to clear house, but neither side could take full control, with so many moving parts to this machine. Eventually Nessa found herself inside the ring with Noa, and sent her flying to the corner of the ring with a Reckless boot (Superkick). She had her right where she wanted her, but she failed to see Moriarty behind her, and subsequently fell to the PALE HAND OF DEATH (Sitout Chokeslam)! Moriarty made the pin as Kore was entering the ring. He threw his hands up in the air and went to celebrate but instintively she knew what he'd just done. Her face said it all. The shock turned to a wry smile as she embraced her partner, whispering in his ear what it meant to pin the Undisputed Champion.
Winners: Colin Moriarty & Kore Violet
Meanwhile the commnetators were apoplectic. Colin Moriarty had just earned himself an Undisputed Title shot. How the tables have turned.
At LIVE! From Reading it will be Colin Moriarty v Vanessa Reckless v Silas Romero, for Reckless' Undisputed Championship.
Kore raised his hand in the air and pointed to 'the next Undisputed Champion' she proclaimed, as the night came to a close.
