IN THE RING
Undisputed Champion Vanessa Reckless opened the show to the usual jeers. She made it a long, drawn out entrance to increase their anger before grabbing a mic. She told the crowd that the Reckless Era was now a long and lasting legacy, nobody could deny that. She has beaten Silas Romero, Kore Violet and also 'her ugly pale boyfriend'. No one else was capable of that. No doubt some more people will try and take her crown before long but the outcome will be the same because she is wrestling roaylty. She was here to stay and continue her reign for a very, very long time.
OPENING BOUT
NON-TITLE
Vanessa Reckless v Gwen Margolis
Margolis has a great record in singles competition in 5LW but would need to be on her a-game to beat the Undisputed Champion here. After breaking away from her Uncle and tag team partner for a while she was firmly on the hunt for a successful singles career of her own. As always when the Undisputed Champion was in action there was an extra incentive for the challenger that if they pin the champion they rightfully earn a shot at the belt, and this outcome looked very, very possible from the early exchanges, but Nessa eventually came through a hard fought contest and find a way to somehow win, as she so often does, with a double knee backbreaker.
Winner: Vanessa Reckless
POST-MATCH
After the match Vanessa decided she wasn’t done and she wanted to send a message to any would be challengers, picking up the beaten Margolis for further punishment but before she could inflict anything more AJ Rivera came rushing to the ring to make the save. Nessa scarpered but made sure to look back at them both with a grin, thrusting her title in the air and swaggering backstage with confidence.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Freedom Fighters v Lambert & Butler
Debuting Freedom Fighters were a hit with the fans, as this high energy tag match bounced back and forth between all four opponents. Lambert always gets the crowd on their feet with her hard hitting no-nonsense style, and it appears her partner, Juno, is much the same. They tried a few underhand tactics to get underneath the newcomers but honour, glory, truth and justice was restored in the end with their finisher Stars & Stripes (Miss Liberty setting Juno up in a Gory bomb position with Glory doing a Springboard cutter) for a fine debut win.
Winners: Freedom Fighters
IN THE RING
Nigel Phillips is out now and has a few announcements to make. First he wants to address the departure of Sean Parker and the ruling he made for tonight’s Trios match. He said it’s true that Parker requested his release from his contract and it's also true that he was willing wrestle in tonight's match as one final obligation, but as General Manager he (Phillips) made the decision to prevent that from happening. If someone doesn’t want to be employed here then they have no place in a Five Lakes Wrestling ring. He also made the decision to ensure a fair match goes ahead with three versus three. Deep down he knew that Holmes and Hawkins would step up and take on their opponents in a handicap match. That’s who they were and he respected that about them. But he wanted things to be fair. He was convinced they would find a willing partner, but if they didn’t he would personally step into this match himself to even things up. The match will go ahead, they have his word. He finished by saying he would be out again later in the night with further announcements.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Gothica v Ginny Kayl v Noa Skye
Gothica didn’t wait for the bell here, eager to make a lasting first impression with a win over two up and coming wrestlers, and she came very close with a Question Mark kick on Noa, but the pin was broken with moments to spare. Skye wants to get her hands on one of the sets of Tag Titles, and with her partner Romero currently tied up in singles competition defending his own belt she would no doubt use any win to elevate them both closer to the gold. While Kayl had a good victory last time out and some momentum would continue her own push towards future opportunities. She looked like securing back to back wins with a Famousser on Gothica she calls the Curtain Drop but before she could make the pin Noa appeared from nowhere to land a Cutter and steal the win.
Winner: Noa Skye
BACKSTAGE
Griffin Hawkins and Serenity Holmes are talking about their match. They haven’t yet found a partner and while they don’t want to have Nigel Phillips on their side, they’re at least relieved it will go ahead and they can get their hands on the Red Lock Legion. Hawkins said he’s asked around, but everyone is booked or unable to help. He said he has one more iron in the fire, a really big iron at that, and leaves Serenity wondering what he means.
SINGLES MATCH
Indie Legends v Danielle Basch
Indie dreamed of a homecoming back in Philadelphia after rightfully earning her shot at the North American title, but narrowly came up short on this occasion. “America’s Favourite Wrestler” was quick out the traps here in an attempt to get back to winning ways, squashing any momentum Basch would have from her own win last time out. Using the ropes and any underhand tactics she could pull on she quickly got under the skin of Basch, who pleaded with the Ref for a clean fight. With her back turned at one point Indie seized the moment with an attack from behind and The Pin Up Girl to finish this off in controversial circumstances. Basch pulled herself up, furious at the whole match, as Indie swaggered merrily to the backstage area.
Winner: Indie Legends
TELEVISION TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Duke Andrews & Andrew Raynes v The Rogues Gallery (c)
Andrews and Raynes had their title shots revoked by Phillips, but earned their right with singles wins last time out. The two allies were highly successful singles wrestlers, and keen to get their hands on more gold. The Rogues Gallery were a dangerous outfit though, with considerably more experience together than their challengers. Levi and Sean kept Raynes away from his partner with quick, effective tags for a long period of time but he broke free with a big spinning elbow and tagged in Duke. From there they were in the match throughout, as a solid back and forth ensued between both sides. Duke had a close two count with the Leghook reverse DDT, but it was Raynes Shattered Glass (Leaping Reverse STO) that sealed it on Silvera.
Winners: Duke Andrews & Andrew Raynes (New Television Tag Team Champions)
BACKSTAGE
Serenity Holmes was with Emma Harrington for an interview. She says Hawkins has assured her they have a partner for tonight but she doesn’t know who it is. Whatever happens she was going to avenge her loss and finally shut up Flynn. Flynn has been telling everyone he is next in line for a shot at the Junior Heavyweight Title, but she was staking her own claim tonight. With Parker gone that leaves a gaping hole in the division and she was willing to step up and take that opportunity.
JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Gabriel Landry (c) v Zara Walker
Walker had a fine win back in her hometown of Philadelphia but was stepping up a gear here to take on Landry. Top G has a checkered record in 5LW but typically wins when it matters, making the most of opportunities when they present themselves. Tonight was no different. It looked like the belt would be changing hands in its first defence but Gabriel overcame a difficult opening few minutes to land a diving tornado DDT and follow it up with a 630 splash for the win. Walker climbed to her feet and was applauded by the fans for her efforts after a close fought match.
Winner: Gabriel Landry (Still Junior Heavyweight Champion)

"I am tired of you people.”
Colin said as he wandered into view of the camera, taking a seat on a steel chair as he gazed into the lens, staring into the soul of those watching at home.
Colin Moriarty: “I want you to understand what is about to happen to you all in this match. I’m going to wail on you the likes of which you have never been wailed on before. I’m going to pummel you into the ground, whether it's Myra and Chelsea, whether it's Kim and Mikaela. Then, I’m going to lift up your battered carcasses and ram you into the ground with my finishing maneuver… and then, Kore will get to get the last bite.”
He uttered as the shapely woman wandered onto the screen by him, with him casually sliding an arm around her waist as he sat there and looked up to her, amused.
Koriand’r Violet: “Then, we set course back to where we belong, on the very highest pedestal here in Five Lakes and I will get my belt back along the way.”
Colin Moriarty: “And I will pillage every one of your so called kingdoms, I will bring them all down, I will destroy every lake amongst the Five Lakes if I must to see to it that we get everything we deserve and then some… mark my words, you thought our last few weeks of tribulation was the end… but it was a new beginning where we conquer the Five Lakes again.”
Koriand’r wandered up closer to him, him standing up and towering over him as they shared a quick kiss between them, with him eying down at her.
Koriand’r Violet: “I like the sound of that.”
Colin Moriarty: “I thought you might.”
The two would briefly kiss again before he took her hand and the two wandered off down the halls of the building, leaving a looming threat of what they intended to do in the air.

TRIOS MATCH
Serenity Holmes & Griffin Hawkins & TBC v Red Lock Legion
With all the five competitors inside the ring Griffin got on the mic to reveal their partner. ‘Divide and Conquer’ by Idles hit the speakers as the Hawaiian Giant Kanaka Mauna stepped out from the back. The Red Lock Legion turned a whiter shade of pale as he ducked underneath the big screen and stepped over the ropes to fist bump his partners. The match got underway and Corsen got her side off to dominant start before Flynn tagged himself in. He continued her good work at first but Holmes won it back for her side and tagged in Griff. Griff let Flynn go after a good back and forth and pointed to Scarlett, demanding she enter the ring. Flynn tagged in his Mother who bent over slowly through the ropes to tease the fans and draw further ire, building the suspense but Hawkins didn’t wait too long to get stuck in as they brawled around the ring. The match wore on and eventually the big Mauna was tagged in to face Flynn. Flynn backed off looking terrified, as his sister and Mother jumped down off the apron, backing away themselves and wanting no piece of the colossal Hawaiian but just as he was about to get his hands on the mouthy Welshman he (Mauna) turned and grabbed Hawkins by the throat, picking him up and chokeslamming to the mat. He grabbed Holmes and pulled her over the ropes, who jumped to her feet and tried fighting him back but was met with a big boot to the face. She climbed to her feet again but was also choke slammed to the canvas before Flynn took advantage and pinned her, securing the win for his family as they celebrated inside the ring.
Winners: Red Lock Legion
IN THE RING
Nigel Phillips was out again with a couple of big announcements. He had in his hand a large trophy, which we later found out was a sculpture of the Lady of the Lake. He said this was a new incentive he had created called Seize the Moment. The holder of this trophy will have the opportunity to cash it in at any time, any place, for a title match of their choice. No belt is off limits, including the Tag Titles and of course the Undisputed Championship. Next week would see a series of qualifiers followed by a Ladder match the following week to declare the first ever winner and holder of the trophy. Once the trophy has been cashed in, a new match will be arranged with a few weeks to determine a new Seize the Moment Champion. This seemed to excite the crowd as he left to a cheer.

SINGLES MATCH
Jessi Ozborne v Ichabod Thrasher
The self-proclaimed young legend (Thrasher) takes on the self-proclaimed World's Finest (Ozborne) in this one on one encounter and it was every bit as enthralling as you'd expect from these two exciting talents. Jessi wowed the crowd with a Bangarang (Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick) and Ichabod later replied with his terrifically named How You Get Ants (Back mounted double wrist-clutch Octopus hold) but it was a Mass Relay (Brazilian/Question Mark Kick) that sealed this from Thrasher for a huge win against another high-profile opponent.
Winner: Ichabod Thrasher
BACKSTAGE
Jessi Ozborne was stopped backstage for interview. Emma Harrington asked how it felt to lose to an upcoming talent like Thrasher, but Jessi didn't seem phased. She said it's fine, she doesn't always put everything into these matches when there's nothing on the line and it's good to give these young wrestlers the rub sometimes. They need it. She's Jessi Ozborne, the World's Finest. She'll be back in the title picture very soon. Right now she's happy to see other people sharing the limelight.

IN THE RING
Marisol Vilaro came out with Tiffany Lynn Page. Page spoke first. She said tonight they were going to win for the fans. Nobody should be subjected to the ghastly sight of a mullet on their TV screens. They will ensure this is the last time Patti Rose has to enter a 5LW ring. She also promised that by the end of this tour of Indiana she was going to be the Five Lakes Wrestling Undisputed Champion. That's right, she was laying down the challenge right now to Vanessa Reckless, and to Nigel Phillips to make that match. She deserved it and the fans deserved it. Unsurprisingly this drew a mixed reaction from the crowd. Vilaro came on the mic then and said she too was here to make their (the fans) miserable lives better. Every time she enters the ring with her North American Championship she is fuelling their inspiration and motivation to improve their self-worth! Her products and fitness regimes can do just that, so sign up today! Just then they were interrupted by Callie Renton's music, and she came out with Patti Rose to a huge cheer. Callie said every night Mari comes out and spews her bile she will be there to prevent the fans from having to listen. She will be there to spoil her party every night until she finally gets to face her one on one in the ring. They then rushed to the ring and the match got underway.

TAG TEAM MATCH
Callie Renton & Patti Rose v Marisol Vilaro & Tiffany Lynn Page
Rose challenged Renton to prove her worth and desire to succeed after a series of setbacks, and she duly obliged in a bloody encounter between the pair in Philadelphia. From there, following some possible advice from Patti herself, she stuck her flag well and truly in the middle of the North American Title scene, observing Vilaro’s successful defence from the commentary booth some 24 hours later. Now she gets a chance to go one closer, partnering with Rose to take on the much maligned Page and champion Vilaro in tag team action. Rose and Renton got the upper hand after rushing the ring and had the crowd on their feet but eventually things settled down with Renton and Page in the ring. Vilaro came in and we got a taste of what might be should they square off for the North American Title, as Renton sealed a huge advantage for her team. She tagged in Patti who continued the onslaught but Vilaro reversed a whip into the corner. Page pulled on Patti's mullet to stop her moving out the way as Vilaro rushed at her and it was all one way from there as Mari saw this out with a Natural Selection on the veteran brawler.
Winners: Marisol Vilaro & Tiffany Lynn Page

BACKSTAGE
The Red Lock Legion are being interviewed backstage. Emma asks about their match earlier in the night and why Kanaka Mauna chose to turn on his team mates. Flynn jumps in, of course. He says him and Mauna have an agreement to work together and ensure one of them wins the NAWL Internet Title in a few weeks. Tonight was about making sure they have each others backs. Nothing more, nothing less. Mauna made the right decision. The smart decision. Emma tried talking to Corsen about their aspirations for the Tag Titles but Flynn interrupts again before she can speak. He says you’re looking at the future Tag Champions, and the future Junior Heavyweight Champion. He says it’s a joke that Zara Walker got a shot tonight ahead of him. He’s already beaten Landry once, they might as well just hand him the belt now before he causes him further embarrassment. Nigel Phillips needs to hurry up and make that match before the belt loses any more credibility.
TAG TEAM TURMOIL MATCH
NON-TITLE
Kore Violet & Colin Moriarty v Myra Rivers & Chelsea LeClair v Kimberley Williams & Mikaela Callaway
With the temporary disbandment of the Illuminati PROJEKT a gaping whole has been left for someone to step into and become the newest challengers for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Champions Rivers & LeClair have welcomed anyone to throw their hats into the ring as they seek to extend their reign beyond their first defence. Moriarty and Kore were a dangerous outfit as expected, while Williams and Callaway continued to impress following a big win last time out. The match spilled over onto the ramp and into the crowd, with Williams and Kore especially taking advantage of the relaxed rules and bloodying their opponents. The crowd were eager to hand all manner of objects to Kim in particular, the Queen of the Death Match who they've now dubbed the 'People's Brass Knuckles Champion', presumably much to the chagrin of actual champion Jack McGrath. This fight could have gone any which way, with numerous broken pinfalls and close calls, but as is often the case in these matches it was a case of seizing the moment, and Myra Rivers did just that when Callaway hit the Mikaela’s Way (Michinoku Driver II) on Kore, only to be blindsided by a Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) before she could make the all important pinfall.
Winners: Myra Rivers & Chelsea LeClair
POST-MATCH
After the match had finished Moriarty slid under the ropes and attacked Myra from behind with a chair. Chelsea LeClair tried coming to her aid but Violet was back on her feet now and sent her tumbling to the outside before she could get there. They continued the beat down on a helpless Rivers before embracing one another in the centre of the ring to a resounding chorus of abuse.

AJ Rivera was backstage before his match. Tonight was about getting back to winning ways and getting back in the title hunt. Emma asks which title, he says he thought about going back after his Openweight Title, the belt he never actually lost in the first place, but after what happened earlier in the night, he has other ideas. He's laying down a challenge to the Undisputed Champion, Vanessa Reckless. Let's see how reckless she is when she comes face to face with the One True King.
SINGLES MATCH
Alejandro Rivera v Donovan Basch
Former two-time Openweight Champion Rivera faces relative newcomer Basch in this battle of the heavyweights as the two men waste no time getting stuck into one another. Former two time Openweight Champion Rivera took all his frustration out on Basch in the early exchanges, but Basch didn't waver in his emotions or allow him to stay on top for long, reversing things in his favour as these two powerhouses began pounding one another around the ring. However, as entertaining as this was it took an ugly turn of events when Ryan Samuels came out from the back, pushed Basch to one side and began stomping away at Rivera when he was down on the ground. A furious Donovan pulled him around and demanded an explanation before those began brawling. Rivera then climbed to his feet and tackled Samuels to the ground as multiple match officials and members of the ring crew came rushing to the ring to separate all three men.
Winner: Alejandro Rivera (by disqualification)
BACKSTAGE
Andrew Raynes and Duke Andrews were backstage together when they were approached for interview. They were bullish about their win, declaring it justice for being screwed out of a title shot in the first place. Together they will show Phillips, the fans and everyone on the roster that they've been held back on all fronts in their time here. Both men are still in pursuit of singles success, and sooner rather than later that will be achieved. In the mean time they're going to kick some ass along the way in retaining these titles.
HEADLINER
BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE MATCH
Jack McGrath v Tater
Tater brought all the weapons to the ring he could find while McGrath came unarmed. He looked around the ring at the plethora of foreign objects that his opponent had amassed and shrugged, unperturbed by what he saw. The fight got underway and the champion was on the back foot after a whack to the head from a trombone and a face full of curry powder. Tater opened up a bag he had left in the corner of the ring and pulled out a pane of glass but McGrath cut off him as he went for the attack and Tater found himself covered in shards. McGrath made use of the advantage and nailed him across the back and head with a chair. Tater, his body a mass of blood, sweat and glass, tried a brief fight back but McGrath overcame the resurgence to finish him off with a Cold Snap (Cradle Piledriver) onto the chair for the win.
Winner: Jack McGrath (Still Brass Knuckles Champion)
BACKSTAGE
Ryan Samuels has a few choice words for Silas Romero and more pertinently for AJ Rivera, as he’s interviewed by Emma Harrington. The Brass Knuckles Title will one day find its way back to him, and after he ends Romero’s reign tonight, he wants Rivera in a ring, one on one, so he can beat him all over again. HOT DAMN!
MAIN EVENT
TELEVSION TITLE MATCH
Silas Romero (c) v Ryan Samuels
Former Brass Knuckles Champion Samuels lost his title last time out, but the Midwest Nitemare gets an immediate opportunity here to get back amongst the gold. Romero claimed first 5LW title with an impressive win against Tater in Philly, and will no doubt want to become the first wrestler to secure the elusive five successful defences. Samuels used his size and strength to his advantage as best as possible, but he wasn’t as over-powering as much as usual against the equally domineering Romero. Silas tried turning this into a battle of holds, knowing that’s where he could out-wrestle the big cowboy and gain the upper hand. Both men had moments of dominance, and some close two counts had the crowd on their feet throughout. They didn’t quite get the clean outcome they desired though as Alejandro Rivera came out onto the ramp. Immediately Ryan turns and the two begin trading insults across the ropes but it wasn’t for long as Romero seized the opportunity and attacked the distracted Samuels, landing his Black Sea Codex (Ripcord Flying Knee) to retain.
Winner: Silas Romero (Still Television Champion)
With Samuels laid out in the centre of the ring Romero shrugs his shoulders and picks up his belt as the camera zones in on Rivera looking back at his wounded rival for the last shot of the evening. This rivalry, we suspect, is far from over.
