Premise
In kayfabe, Five Lakes Wrestling is a regional based promotion located in and around the Great Lakes of North America. Shows go out every Tuesday, save for the occasional off-week, with ad hoc 'supershows' or themed events, all aired via an online streaming service. Out of character, 5LW is an angled e-fed for fictional characters only. There are absolutely no roleplays or segments required, although you can contribute either if you wish to do so (see further down for more detail). With it being weekly events, angles and storylines will invariably move at a fast pace with the aim of keeping people interested. In order to do this results will be heavily summarised, with emphasis on key match points and angles, as opposed to move sets.
All in all, we don’t require a huge amount of your time to participate here, and we fully expect this (probably) won’t to be your main/only fed in terms of commitment. That said, some activity is required. If you sign up and do nothing we'll simply stop booking you.
Signing Up
To sign up all you need to do is post a contract on the Applications section of the board. Once reviewed it will be moved to the Roster section. If you want to add additional information than what's already in the template feel free. There is no official limit on how many characters you can sign up with so long as they remain active and you can manage the workload, so please use common sense, and discuss it with us first if you want to bring more in on a part-time, temporary or permanent basis.
Roleplays and segments
As already mentioned, roleplays and segments here are strictly optional. If you write any character development be sure to tag us on X so we can read and retweet. Segments can be submitted if you want to contribute to the shows but they must be summarised in keeping with our format. We have a soft cap of 100 words for any submitted segs. If you want to do something longer, link us to your work on Google Doc or whatever platform you use and we’ll get it out there on the timelines. Please bear in mind you will find your characters popping up in segments we have included so please be sure to read all the results and follow the storylines. Results are summarised for a reason, so you can follow the action easily and quickly. There will be no preferential treatment given to you if you decide to RP or submit promos, but like all angled Feds, remain active and stay relevant for success. We understand that most of the characters here will be developing ideas or continuing their own narratives, so we’re happy to facilitate that if you want to discuss an arc or path you want to go down.
Twitter/X
This is fundamental. In order to be active and follow the activity your character(s) will need a Twitter/X account. How we move forward with your character will rely, in some part, on how you respond to cards, results and announcements on social media. However, that doesn’t mean we need to be spammed with irrelevant tweets and thot pics throughout the course of the week. Be interesting and be pointworthy. In a nutshell, ensure you respond and react to matches before and after the event. Simple as that. That's how we get a feel for your character, at the end of the day.
Wins and Losses
This fed is entirely angled so please trust the process. Just because you’ve poured your heart and soul into one specific event or feud doesn’t mean it gets you the win or that title belt. You don’t know what’s in store around the corner. Wins and losses come at the staff's discretion. It’s an open door policy if you want to discuss anything but not everyone can have their flowers at once. You will dip in and out of the title scenes and unquestionably lose matches you wanted to win so be chill and stay along for the ride. It's just fictional wrestling, ok.
Leaving and/or Taking a Break
As you would imagine, it can be hard for staff to know if you still want to be a part of the fed when there are no roleplays required. If you want your character pulled, on a permanent or temporary basis, message us and let us know. Otherwise you will probably be booked for the foreseeable future. Don't stress if you have a busy week here and there, activity will invariably ebb and flow and we recognise that.
Reach out if you have any more queries, questions or concerns.

Owner/Founder
Frank is a retired wrestler from Columbus, Ohio. A fan favourite in his day, it was his dream to bring regular professional wrestling to the Great Lakes region. He is the sole owner, promoter and and currently head booker for all things Five Lakes Wrestling. His stance is generally very liberal, owing to multiple years of working inside the business - he accepts the fact people will break the rules and follow their own moral code, only stepping in when necessary to ensure the best possible fights are made, and ultimately the fans get the matches they want to see.
