Tuesday 3rd September
PREVIEW/INTRO
‘She’s done it! The Brat Princess FINALLY has a crown of her own…’
‘This is well and truly The Reckless Era. Can anyone dethrone the Undisputed Champion?’
‘Moriarty has Seized the Moment! That trophy is his and ALL title holders will be looking over their shoulder from this moment forward..’
‘We have a new Junior Heavyweight Champion and it is that man right there. Flynn Howell. Whether anyone likes it or not that belt is his and we are ALL going to hear about it.’
'People doubted them. They may even have doubted themselves in recent weeks, but there can be no arguments now. Chelsea LeClair and Myra Rivers have retained their Tag Team Championships! They are the Number One tag team in Five Lakes Wrestling and nobody can deny it!'
‘DOUBLE CHAMPION! Jack McGrath has swooped in and took not one, but two titles! Rivera can’t believe it. Samuels can’t believe it either. But they better believe it because their belts now belong to that man in the middle of the ring!’
After three months away the patient fans were greeted with a recap of the pivotal moments throughout 2023, as infamous sound bites from the Five Lakes commentary team bellowed through their devices. Inside the arena the fans were on their feet as a modest firework display erupted around the entrance ramp. No sooner had it died down they were greeted by their first wrestler, and the crowd did not hold back their unwavering support for the North American Champion!
IN THE RING
Callie Renton stood tall and proud on the entrance ramp, soaking up the atmosphere and deserved undulation. She had a mic in hand and hyped the Canadian fans. She spoke about how heartbroken she was when 5LW went on hiatus. She had worked so hard to become North American champion and never got the opportunity to defend it. She wasn't going to wait around any longer. She was issuing an open challenge for next week!
After a few minutes silence Ginny Kayl’s music hit and she came out to a huge pop. She made her to the ring and said it was a pleasure to share the ring with Callie tonight, but next week she wanted to share the ring again, for Callie’s belt. They shook hands and the match was made.
OPENING BOUT
EIGHT-PERSON TAG MATCH
Tinsley Nolan, Callie Renton, Serenity Holmes & Ginny Kayl
v
Lambert & Butler (Sally Lambert & Juno Butler), Billie Garner & Indie Legends
v
Lambert & Butler (Sally Lambert & Juno Butler), Billie Garner & Indie Legends
All 8 were in the ring and before the bell even started there was arguing between Lambert and Garner, which in turn infuriated Indie, who wanted this over with as quickly as possible. Holmes kicked things off and gave the crowd what they wanted with some exciting maneovers, dominating the early exchanges with Lambert. Kayl was next and was a bit over zealous trying to send a friendly message to Renton ahead of their title match. After getting into a spot of trouble she established her team into a good position and tagged in Nolan. Nolan regained control of the fight well against Garner and later Butler but was put on the back foot by Indie, who quickly tagged Lambert back in after a good few minutes for her team. Nolan switched it up for Renton for a bit of a hot tag as the North American champ came bursting into the ring. Disposing of Lambert with ease she was put to the test by an advancing Garner and Butler after a couple of illegal attacks, but after seeing them both off too she was caught from behind by a galvanised Sally Lambert. Renton took some punishment for a few minutes but a neat reversal and they were back in. Both women were in need of a tag and as Lambert reached out for Indie she stepped back at the last second. Dropping down off the ring apron she shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Her work was done here tonight and she’d had enough. Lambert was furious and could do nothing to prevent Serenity Holmes, by now tagged back in from Renton, to seal the win for her side with a Home Sweeter Holmes (Cattle Mutilation).
Winners: Tinsley Nolan, Callie Renton, Serenity Holmes & Ginny Kayl
BACKSTAGE
Indie Legends was stopped walking through the hallway for interview. She was asked why she walked away from the match and she didn’t hold back. Tonight was about protest. Last time she was here General Manager Nigel Phillips had promised that her next match would be for the Television Title, and yet here she was teaming with a bunch of curtain jerkers against some other curtain jerkers. She was a FOURTH generation superstar. She came from excellence and was born a legend. This match was beneath her and everyone knew it. Until she gets that opportunity she’ll happily walk away from pointless encounters.

IN THE RING
Frank James came out to greet the crowd to a huge reception. He apologised for taking Five Lakes off the air in recent months, but for reasons he can’t fully disclose, he was forced to make a difficult decision. Suffice to say, previous management left the business in a precarious financial position and drastic action had to be taken. As of right now he was in going to be back at the helm until the matter has been resolved. He was well aware of some of the promises that had been made to people on the roster before the company’s hiatus. He would review these one by one and determine what was best for business. Whatever happens though, he was eager to see each and every title defended in the coming weeks, which pleased the fans.
SINGLES MATCH
Vivian Venture v Avery Smith
Returning Avery was greeted to a mixed reception as she confidently made her way to the ring. Vivian Venture had the crowd going though, teasing the fans as she entered the ring accompanied by her Cabana Boy valets. Once the match got going Avery hit the ground running, completely dominating the newcomer. The commentary team were bewildered that the same woman who lost every match she participated in here previously could control a match with such ease. But it wasn’t to last. Her confidence was her undoing in the end as Venture intelligently waited for an opportunity, duly taking it with both hands and wrapping up a debut win with her Drop Anchor (Last Chancery) before being carried out in victory by her team of men.
Winner: Vivian Venture
BACKSTAGE
Marisol Vilaro and Tiffany Lynn Page were backstage, and in buoyant mood ahead of their match tonight. Vilaro said their victory would be for everyone in Canada and the United States of America. Last time out she was robbed point blank of her North American Title and she trusted that Frank James will do the right thing and return it to her soon. The people of North America deserved better, they needed inspirational people like her and Page to represent them. Page said it was interesting that THEY were higher up the bill than the ACTUAL (Undisputed) Tag Team Champions. Maybe after they win tonight they’ll come for those belts. They have probably beaten Chelsea and Myra a hundred times already? Who knows, she couldn’t remember. All the other women in this company look the same and sound the same to her. What’s important is that Mari was going to get her belt back, and she was going to be the next Undisputed Champion. She reached out to hand the mic back to Emma but ‘accidentally’ dropped it instead, as the two walked off.

DEBUT SHOWCASE
Anya Lebeaux v Bradley St James
The first of many double debuts tonight and it didn’t disappoint, with both wrestlers putting on an impressive display. The Princess of Pain made life difficult for St James with her feral style, but he stayed composed throughout, eventually luring her into a series of traps. It looked like there was no way back for her as tried sealing it with a Crater Maker '99 (Diving Double Foot Stomp) but she moved out the way and stole the win with a Trojan Horse (RKO) for a statement debut win.
Winner: Anya Lebeaux
BACKSTAGE
Vanessa Reckless was backstage with Rowen by her side. The crowd could be heard jeering in the distance, which only satisfied her more. Emma Harrington introduced her as the Undisputed Champion but Reckless corrected her, she was the FOREVER Undisputed Champion, and Five Lakes Wrestling coming back did nothing to change that. She’s held this belt since DECEMBER and it was going nowhere. Asked about tonight’s match she was largely indifferent. Unlike some people she had been here and there winning big matches in other promotions during the last couple of months and will easily pick up where she left off. She was confident her partners tonight would rise to her level and ensure they all came away with a victory.
SINGLES MATCH
Wheeler Wilkes v 'The Manitoba Moose' Raphael Rousseau
Ontario-native Wheeler Wilkes was an imposing young man, but met his match with the veteran Rousseau as they came face to face. Size was about all they were equal to though, as Wilkes steamrolled the legendary Canadian in all of two minutes, sending a message to his future opponents with an All Wheel Drive (Gorilla Press Slam).
Winner: Wheeler Wilkes
BACKSTAGE
Tinsley Nolan was backstage for interview. Despite winning she was disappointed in seeing Indie Legends walk away from the other team, and leave them hanging. It was cowardly and pathetic. She offered her a match next time out. Let’s see if she can run from a one on one situation, she quipped.

SINGLES MATCH
Ozzy Havok v The Great Jean-Pierre
The match started with the crowd excited to see newcomer Havok, and he made lightwork of the popular Jean-Pierre, finishing him off with the Despair Factor (Backwards facing diving senton/Coffin drop) inside three minutes. With his music blaring he spent more time outside the ring with the fans than he did dismantling his opponent.
Winner: Ozzy Havok
IN THE RING
Ryan Samuels came out the ring, his harrowing entrance music leaving a horrible taste in the ears and mouths of the Ottawa crowd. He entertained himself for a while, mocking the Canadians with a foul-mouth tirade of abuse, before getting to the point of why he had come out. The brief hiatus of Five Lakes Wrestling had made him realise that not only was he the most technically gifted wrestler in this company, but the toughest too. After he had won a tournament to become the inaugural Brass Knuckles champion. He forgets how many people were in that tournament, but it was probably upwards of fifty. But he does remember one thing, and that on his way to becoming the greatest ever Brass Knuckles Champion, he beat up some freak with one eye (Jack McGrath). Now he done forgot this freaks name but last time he went on the interweb he done saw him standing there with HIS Brass Knuckles Title. HOT DAMN! He thought. The Midwest Nightmare didn't like what he saw and he was he coming for that gold. Any gold.
BACKSTAGE
KURAI was heading to the ring when he came face to face with Shibuya. The two men stopped in their tracks, saying nothing, just staring one another down. It was evident this was not the first meeting between the pair. Eventually KURAI gave a wry smile, before heading to the gorilla press.

SNGLES MATCH
KURAI v Hideo Watanabe
The two Japanese natives came face to face in the centre of the ring. Strangers they might be, but it was clear they knew of one another, and when the bell rang and they locked horns it felt like they’d done this a thousand times over. Hideo was surprisingly agile for a heavyweight, as KURAI tried figuring him out, initially with great difficulty. But as the match wore on as did KURAI’s willpower and a hard fought win was was sealed with a Ripcord Headbutt.
Winner: KURAI
BACKSTAGE
Television Tag Team champion Andrew Raynes was backstage for interview with Emma Harrington. First up, he was asked where Duke Andrews was tonight but he shrugged. Next week he expects to defend his Television Tag Title. He’ll turn up and turn it in as he always does. With or without a partner, it makes no difference to him. Asked about tonight he said he only had one objective, and that was to lay down a marker. Inflicting as much pain and punishment on everyone as possible. When asked about winning he said it didn’t matter. If this match was a championship he’d be going in and looking for a pinfall the second the bell rings. But it isn’t. Tonight was about showing the world why he is and always will be The Toughest Out.

DEBUT SHOWCASE
TAG TEAM MATCH
The McConaigh Brothers v C & C
Owen started the match for the Scottish siblings but C & C were the stronger pairing in the early exchanges. Some slick tags meant they remained fresh, taking turns to work away at poor Owen but when he did get the hot tag the colossal Finn began to clean house. Coco, disappointed that things weren’t going their way, picked up a nearby chair and struck it to the back of the big man but he barely flinched. Grabbing her by the neck the crowd were cheering as he raised in the air for a Chokeslam but Claire came to the rescue with a second chair shot, this time to the head. Owen dived in for the rescue but was met with a shot of his own as the C & C danced around the ring in celebration of their “win”.
Winners: The McConnaigh Brothers (by disqualification)
BACKSTAGE
The Midnight Demon Club were backstage with Emma Harrington. Romero had his Television Title around his waist and said he was excited to see the return of Five Lakes Wrestling. He was one defence away from making history and being the first person to successfully retain the TV Title five times. Harrington asked what he’ll do if he can achieve that feat, which belt will he cash it in for a shot at? But Romero refused to say. Noa Skye said they were both still in the hunt for tag gold. Tonight marks the beginning of a new dawn for Five Lakes Wrestling, and the Midnight Demon Club. Hold your belts close, they’re coming for them.
DEBUT SHOWCASE
David Striker v Shibuya
An impressive debut from Striker, who at times was put through the mill by Shibuya’s endless list of holds and combinations, only to secure a fine first win with The Star Platinum (Somersault reverse DDT)
Winner: David Striker
BACKSTAGE
Serenity Holmes was backstage with Emma Harrington. She said it felt good to start back with a win and acknowledged her team mates. It was never a chore to fight alongside good people, but right now she had one goal in Five Lakes Wrestling, and that was singles success. Before the end of the year she promised the world she would have held one title in this company. Minimum. She was a collector of belts and it didn’t matter which one at this stage. Consider everyone on notice.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Izzy Ricci & Tiffany Monroe v Mad Max & Ai Akina
Kindred spirits Monroe and Ricci instinctively knew every trick in the book and had their popular opponents on the back foot for most of this match. Mad Max was equally intuitive though and bewildered them with a few counters, as if she knew what was coming and was waiting for them to make their move. The finish came from Akina though, with The Season Of Spring (Falcon Arrow) as Max ensured Monroe was kept at bay. Max gave her a nod and exited the ring as Akina gave one last salute to the cheering fans, but was ambushed from behind by her opponents who insisted on having the last laugh. Max rolled her eyes and returned to the ring to chase them off but the damage was done, as they exited up the rampway with a smug look on each of their faces.
Winners: Mad Max & Ai Akina
BACKSTAGE
Wendy Wynne stood in front of a mirror, adjusting her glittering green robe. She frowned at her reflection, noting the exaggerated flair of the mullet woman she would soon face. "How does one even do that to their hair?" she muttered, tossing her long red locks over her shoulder.
The arena noise faded behind her, and her thoughts turned to the match ahead—a hardcore match, one of her least favorite types, in a city she could do without. Ottawa had never held a special place in her heart, and as far as she was concerned, magic or not, she needed an edge.
With a determined glance, Wendy waved her hand over a collection of unusual herbs and crystals laid out before her on a small altar, remnants of her absence from the wrestling scene now being repurposed for a grander ambition. "By the whispers of ancient spirits and the bones of fallen opponents, I command the echoes of time to heed my call!"
She took a deep breath, drawing in the energy swirling around her. As she began to chant, the air thickened and shimmered, wrapping her in a veil of emerald light. "In the land where my foes tread, let them learn fear, let them dread! I beckon forth the ancients' might—stand with me in this hex tonight!"
The room began to spin, colors blending and reshaping until the very fabric of reality twisted into spirals of history. When the world finally settled, Wendy found herself standing on a patch of land that would one day become Ottawa. Tall, ancient trees loomed overhead, their leaves rustling with secrets of the past. The sunlight filtered through, illuminating the terrain—frozen in time and untouched by modernity.
This was the perfect place for her ritual. She knelt, digging her hands into the cool soil, feeling the heartbeat of the earth beneath her fingers. "This land, with its future legacy, will serve my will," she declared, her voice echoing across the quiet forest. "As the city grows, so shall my strength whenever I step into the ring in what will later be known as–" she tried not to vomit when she said it, “Ottawa!”
With a flourish of her hands, Wendy scattered the herbs she had brought with her, allowing them to mingle with the earth. She traced a circle around her, binding the hex with the fibers of time itself. "Let all who tread here feel the weight of my fury! I summon the spirits of champions long past—grant me the dominion over this ground!"
A gust of wind swept through the area, whispering as if the ancients themselves were responding to her call. The trees swayed, sending down leaves that settled into the dirt, weaving into her incantation. With the final motion, Wendy raised her arms toward the sky, lightning crackling at her fingertips, bursting in a cascade of vibrant colors.
The hex was cast, resonating through the land, intertwining with its roots. Wendy laughed, a wild sound echoing through the timeless landscape. "Now, let any foe who dares step foot in my sacred ground…” Again, she tried not to vomit at the thought of having total dominion over the land of Ottawa, she continued nevertheless. My god she’s so brave… “Let them all tremble in the face of my might!"
With that, Wendy closed her eyes and whispered another incantation to return. In a flash of light, she was pulled back, the trees dissipating into shadows until she found herself back in the present-day arena. The sights and sounds of 5 Lakes Wrestling greeted her once more.
A confident grin spread across her face as she adjusted her robe, now infused with the power of the land she had hexed. "Let’s see what that mullet-wearing wretch has in store for me," she said, ready to conquer whatever awaited her in the ring.

IN THE RING
Ichabod Thrasher came to the ring with a mic and hyped the crowd. He joked that the break from 5LW had given him more time to spend with his step son Flynn but it was good to be back nonetheless. The Young Legend was ready to add more famous names to his body count. Last time he checked he was still number one contender to the Openweight Championship, and as long as Frank James is willing to recognise that, pretty soon he’ll have his first Five Lakes belt around his waist.
HARDCORE RULES
Wendy Wynne v Patti Rose
With both women inside the ring Rose hyped the crowd, letting Wendy know she had the fans on her side here before pulling out a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire from her bag to try and intimidate her. Wynne reached into a bag of her own and began throwing various unsual objects around the place: a cauldron, crystals, herbs, a broken picture frame with Brennan Devlin inside, before finally finding what it was she was looking for. A big old pair of scissors. Patti gulped as Wendy threatened to ‘chop off her ugly mullet’ as the bell was rung and the match got underway. Patti’s old school style put Wynne under the cosh early on but she rattled back with good use of weapons. At one point she put Patti’s head inside the cauldron and sat back in hysterics as she ran around the ring helpless before a drop kick sent the old timer flying into the turnbuckle. From there Wendy saw this out with a Broomstick Slam (Jackhammer).
Winner: Wendy Wynne
BACKSTAGE
The Red Lock Legion were backstage with Emma Harrington. Unsurprisingly Flynn wanted to speak first. He applauded Frank James for having the common sense to put them in the Main Event for the first show back. An astute businessman would always put his biggest draws at the top of the bill, and while the ratings were probably quite low for matches that involved Ichabod Thrasher, Callie Renton or Serenity Holmes, they would all be tuning in tonight to see him pin the Undisputed Champion and earn himself a shot at that belt in the process. He already had the best belt in 5LW but an extra one wouldn’t hurt. Corsen tried to speak but he wasn’t done. He had a bee in his bonnet about the recent Power Rankings. As the World Junior Heavyweight Champion he should be number one, closely followed by his Mother and Sister in second and third. Presumably there was admin error that will be rectified in the coming days but he wanted to draw it everyone’s attention because he had been blown away by people messaging him about it on social media. It didn't matter to him. But his many, many fans wanted to see him up there. At number one. But he was fine about it. Completely fine. Corsen reached over for the mic to try and say a few words but Flynn didn’t notice and handed the mic back to the interviewer before leading them off down the corridor.
SINGLES MATCH
Kimberley Williams v Kore Violet
Kimberley Williams is becoming increasingly more and more popular with the Five Lakes faithful. Former Undisputed Champion Kore, though, was equally impressionable on the crowd, as she sauntered out from the back, goading them to increase their mix of jeers and wolf whistles. These two women love a good blood bath but tonight was about who could out wrestle the other, and it was Kore that won the early exchanges. Kimberley took a while to get going but once she did Kore found herself in all kids of trouble. The vampire always has a way out of a situation though, and promptly bit down on Kim’s arm to work her way out of a submission. Naturally Williams broke her hold and Kore pounced to lock on the 2023 Finisher of the Year, Starfire, a Russian Legsweep to Ground Octopus Hold, sinking her teeth once more into the helpless Williams.
Winner: Kore Violet
BACKSTAGE
Jack McGrath was on his way to the ring when he was stopped by Emma Harrington. With both belts slung over his shoulders he looked unimpressed by her enthusiasm. Harrington asked how he felt about having to defend both belts in the coming weeks. Being a double champion meant double the duty, was he up to it? Unsurprisingly, this didn’t phase him. He said being a double champion meant only one thing in his eyes. Double the amount of victims. Double the amount of carnage and blood. It meant even more men and women that were foolish enough to step into the ring with him, would ultimately see their careers come to a premature end. No one is safe.
BIG BOY BRAWL
Ten men, one pinfall, all the weapons
Jack McGrath v Kanaka Mauna v Andrew Garrison v Andrew Raynes v Colin Moriarty v Ryan Samuels v Shaun Kasiano v Ichabod Thrasher v AJ Rivera v Levi Silvera
Jack McGrath v Kanaka Mauna v Andrew Garrison v Andrew Raynes v Colin Moriarty v Ryan Samuels v Shaun Kasiano v Ichabod Thrasher v AJ Rivera v Levi Silvera
Carnage, and indeed a little bit of chaos here, as the ten men made their way out from the back one by one. Some came with weapons, some were happy to use whatever they would find along the way. Silvera and Kasiano carried two chairs apiece. McGrath, a sickle. And Samuels his trusty bull rope. There was barely enough room for them all inside the ring together but the packed out canvas merely served to build more tension as the crowd grew more and more excited with each entrance. The final entrant, AJ Rivera, came out from the back and puffed his chest out on the ramp. His reception from the crowd was unusually positive as he pointed to the ring and charged. ‘Let’s get this fucking thing on!’ He yelled as the anarchy immediately ensued and the bell was frantically rung to signify the start of the match. Silvera and Kasiano were intent on overpowering people together, improving their odds of victory as quickly as possible. Samuels and Mauna renewed their now three year rivalry, dismantling every table and set up at ringside in doing so. Rivera and Raynes, no strangers to one another, formed a brief alliance to take out the Rogues before fighting one another. While McGrath made a b-line for the young pretender, and challenger to his Openweight crown, in Ichabod Thrasher. Andy Garrison made sure Moriarty paid for some insulting words online recently, but was caught with a big boot to the face from Samuels thereafter and almost choked out by his bull rope. Rivera got a chance to lay his hands on the man that took his title earlier in the year, in McGrath, and briefly came face to face with his old foe in Samuels, as the battles bounced chaotically in and around the ring. The Rogues managed to not lay a hand on one another until it reached a point they were alone in the ring, having disposed of two men with back to back DEFCON-1’s; a devastating Kneeling Powerbomb/Diving Foot Stomp combination. There was no time for pleasantries though as they immediately got stuck in, and after a bloody back and forth, Andrew Raynes was on hand to break up a potential winning pin from Kasiano on his ally. Moriarty was pragmatic throughout, finding weapons in places most wouldn’t look. After stealing a womans handbag from the front row he rifled through and pepper sprayed Samuels in the eyes, before crashing him through a table with a Chokeslam. Meanwhile Thrasher was causally trying to secure as many pin falls as humanly possible, intelligently playing for the win. Raynes though had other ideas, meeting every man with his fists in a bid to leave his mark on every one inside this match up. Rivera looked all set to win as a lined up Samuels with his finisher, but out of nowhere when DUKE ANDREWS appeared through the crowd and attacked him from behind. The commentators were apoplectic. He continued the beat down on Rivera with a steel chair before leaving to a torrent of abuse from the crowd. Meanwhile the match continued inside the ring, as Kanaka Mauna tried to take advantage of the wounded Rivera but was struck from behind by Ichabod Thrasher carrying a set of ring steps. The big man stumbled across the ring and bounced off the ropes straight into the path of a Mass Relay (Brazilian/Question Mark Kick) as Ich hooked the leg before anyone could deny him an impressive win.
Winner: Ichabod Thrasher
BACKSTAGE
After her match earlier in the night Kimberley Williams was backstage with Emma Harrington. Looking directly into the camera she said if Kore had wanted to fill the ring with blood she should have said in the first place. She would have shined up her infinity ring real nice for the occasion. Kore might be a former Undisputed Champion. But she will never be the People’s Champion. She might think she's Five Lakes Wrestling royalty, but she will NEVER be Queen of the Deathmatch!
TAG TEAM MATCH
NON TITLE
Myra Rivers & Chelsea LeClair v The Freedom Fighters
Undisputed Tag Team Champions Myra and Chelsea came out to a huge reception, but were a little put out by the Freedom Fighters, who have won the hearts and minds of the Five Lakes fans in their short time here. They didn’t hold back in showing them who the champions were in the opening exchanges but it wasn’t as clinical as they were usually known to be. After some sloppy mistakes they were potentially heading to a surprise defeat, as Glory and Miss Liberty made regular tags to wear down Chelsea. But despite not being at their best they were never down and out and came through to win after a great reversal from Chelsea and a hot tag to Myra. Myra tagged Chelsea back in for the final blow, as the champions celebrated a hard fought victory. After the match they showed their respect for their opponents, raising their hands for the crowd. Frank James promised all 5LW belts would be defended in the coming weeks, who will they next defend their titles against is the big question?
Winners: Myra Rivers & Chelsea LeClair
BACKSTAGE
Duke Andrews was backstage with a mic. He had a message for Rivera and everyone else. There was no way this company would return without his presence. He was still the biggest draw, still the toughest out there in Five Lakes Wrestling. Rivera has a big mouth and tonight he enjoyed shutting him up. Let that be a lesson to anyone that stands in his way from this point on. He and Page were ready to dominate this company.
BACKSTAGE
Kore Violet and Colin Moriarty were backstage sharing an intimate moment when they were interrupted by Emma Harrington. Emma asked if Kore had heard Kim’s comments after their match earlier in the night but Kore said no. Emma relayed the message but Kore cut her off. As far as she’s concerned Kim is now an honorary member of Bite Club. She was in her rear view mirror already. She did have a message for a few other people though. The previous General Manager had promised her and Moriarty a shot at the Undisputed Tag Team Titles, and she fully expected that to still be in place. Emma asked if this was her challenging then for the titles, but Kore said if they’ve got any sense they just would step aside for the power couple. Moriarty was asked about his match from earlier in the night, but he gave a cryptic reply that the night wasn't over.
HEADLINER
TAG TEAM MATCH
Zara Walker & Gwen Margolis v Tiffany Lynn Page & Marisol Vilaro
Next up we have an all a female tag bout with two sets of friends and a rivalry that has lingered in the back ground for quite some time now. Former tag team champion Gwen once lost her belt to Vilaro in the most controversial of circumstances, and welcomed an opportunity for revenge. Zara and Gwen were an impressive unit, making slick tags throughout, but Page obviously worked a way back in for her team with some underhand tactics. Zara pulled it back her side, only for Vilaro to land a cheap shot after complaining to the Ref. After a chaotic few minutes with everyone in the ring there was some confusion over who the legal wrestler was, as Vilaro tried to re-enter the match, claiming there had been a tag between the two, but the Referee hadn't seen it (neither had anyone else!). Gwen took full advantage of the situation and sealed the win with a Texas Twist (Swinging leg hook fireman’s carry slam). Vilaro and Page protested but the decision was final.
Winners: Zara Walker and Gwen Margolis
BACKSTAGE
AJ Rivera was backstage, bleeding from his head he was furious at what went on in his match tonight. He had a few choice words for the returning Duke Andrews, and suggested they settle their ongoing rivalry like men. 'If the Proud Boy wants a war, he just got one. Next time he takes a shot at the One True King, he better not miss.'
MAIN EVENT
TRIOS MATCH
Vanessa Reckless & Midnight Demon Club (Silas Romero & Noa Skye) v Red Lock Legion (Scarlett, Corsen & Flynn Howell)
Reckless and the MDC stood in the centre of the ring, and waited patiently for their opponents as the Red Lock Legion came out to the usual torrent of abuse. Nessa and Romero, purposely kept their belts on display, as the six men and women came face to face in the centre of the ring, for some early trash talk and mind games. Once things got underway though it was every bit the main event we’d hoped for. Reckless and Noa did a fine job of ensuring they were on top throughout the early stages before tagging in Romero. The Knockout Supreme was eager to get his hands on Flynn but the young man switched things for his sister before he could do so. As Corsen entered though Flynn landed a cheap shot that put him on the back foot and allowed his team back in. Some solid back and forth later and the Red Lock Legion looked like they about to see this up, as Scarlett prepared for her finisher on Noa, but she caught Romero with a hot tag much to their surprise as he burst into the ring, and with the support of Nessa cleaned house, finishing it off with a GKFO (Ripcord Rolling Elbow).

POST-MATCH
POST-MATCH
After the bell the MDC left the ring and began heading up the entrance ramp only to be passed along the way by Kore Violet and Colin Moriarty, carrying his Seize the Moment trophy. They stared one another down, brushing shoulders as they went, but Kore and Colin had other things on their agenda. Kore climbed on top of the ring apron and began to goad Nessa, who was still in the centre of the ring at this point. Nessa was not one to back down and the two came face to face before Kore struck with a right hook to the face. Moriarty then entered the ring from the other side and attacked her from behind. She called for the Referee and handed him the trophy. He was cashing it in. He’s coming for the UNDISPUTED TITLE!
UNDISPUTED TITLE MATCH
Vanessa Reckless (c) v Colin Moriarty
Kore got a few more cheap shots in before the bell rang, knowing they would be disqualified once the match had begun. Once it was formally underway though there was nothing Nessa could do. After twenty minutes of intense tag team action, and a two on one beat down, this was all but over.
The Red Lock Legion, who by now had regrouped on the outside of the ring, watched on, surprised and amused by what was happening before them.
Up on the entrance ramp though Romero and Noa were inches away from the curtain and exiting the stage altogether. Hearing the bell behind them they knew what was about to happen, and stopped momentarily in their tracks. They looked at one another and exchanged a few words before turning and heading back towards the ring. The crowd were going wild. Silas dropped his belt and they started running towards Kore and Moriarty but as they hit the ring they were met by the Red Lock Legion. Flynn smashed his Junior Heavyweight Title into the face of Noa, leaving her no time to react. Romero managed to clothesline Corsen out the way and dived under the ropes. After disposing of Kore he and Moriarty stood in the centre of the ring. The Irishman was second away from sealing his victory but released Reckless from his grasp, furiously pointing his finger at Silas for getting involved.
Before they could lock horns though Flynn jumps back into the ring and attacks Romero, but Romero ducks and sends him over the ropes. The Referee can’t keep on top of the action as Noa rejoins the fray but is set upon by Moriarty as she climbs under the ropes. Meanwhile Vanessa is wearily climbing to her feet. She’s ready to pick up the fight and grabs hold of Moriarty from behind with the SCREAM QUEEN (FIGURE FOUR NECKLOCK)! Kore is about to break it but Noa spears her out of the way as Moriarty taps out.
Winner: Vanessa Reckless (Still Undisputed Champion)
Romero and Noa exit, satisfied that they've done the right thing, as Vanessa grabs her belt and slumps herself into the ropes in exhaustion. Kore helps Moriarty to his feet, both furious as to how this played out. The Red Lock Legion sheepishly make their exit too, after involving themselves in a fight that was never theirs to begin with. Reckless climbs aloft the turnbuckle and raises her belt in the air. There are a few cheers, the likes of which she has probably never heard before, as the fickle Five Lakes fans celebrate the fact Moriarty has been denied of this opportunity. But the cheers do not last long as Reckless turns a friendly wave of the hand into a middle finger, laughing hysterically as the Undisputed Championship is raised high into the air, and the night comes to a close.
