What are their views on cheating? He doesn't cheat and he will show respect to his opponent -- unless given a reason not to.
What are their views on teaming with others? He's not exactly a friendly individual, but he'll pull his weight.
A few strengths..
- Experience: He began learning at an extremely young age and has competed at a high level for over 20 years.
- High Pain Tolerance: He has a tendency to feel numb to pain during a match (within reason, of course).
- No Remorse: His expectation is that nothing should be held back in the ring, therefore he shows no mercy during a match regardless of who his opponent is.
A few weaknesses..
- Broken Body: His years of experience have resulted in a lot of wear and tear on his body. He won't be as fast or resilient as these young kids.
- Temper: Being disrespected can set him off and leave him exposed to make mistakes in his retaliation.
- Bum Shoulder: He has a history of right shoulder injuries and can easily reaggravate it, especially if he doesn't protect it.
Favourite weapon(s): No preference. He'll grab whatever is around if it's legal.
Favourite match types: Submissions
Wrestling Style(s): Japanese STRONG STYLE
Finisher(s):
- Ripcord Headbutt
- Cold Comfort: Dragon Sleeper with body scissors
Signature Moves:
- Spinning Backfist
- Notorious CTE - triple German Suplex to a whole other level by continuing until either he's interrupted or physically exhausted
- Running Penalty Kick
- Head and Arm Suplex
Known Relationships (allies/enemies):
- Bradley St. James (former student, nephew, not his nephew)
Personality summary: He is a quiet and simple man with a deep respect for the sport of professional wrestling. While not one to initiate conversation, he isn't rude or disrespectful to his colleagues. His somber composure becomes scary once the bell rings and he shows no remorse over his efforts for victory.
Brief Bio/Backstory: Born in Osaka, Japan, Jōkichi "Joe" Muto entered in the world of professional wrestling at a young age spending several years as a dojo rookie before graduating to the main stage. Once unleashed, Joe was eventually given the name KURAI by his predecessors for a number of reasons -- a few referring to the darkness he unleashed on his opponents, his quick rise to the throne (once going by King KURAI while ruling over several promotions), as well as the Japanese word sounding similar to "cry", something several western grapplers would be found doing (and mocked for) after their first match with Joe. Regardless of the meaning behind the name, Joe was seen as a formidable foe for many, many years and has now decided to continue his career in America.
