LIVE! From Detroit
Sunday 20th August
La Fracasada came out before the opening match and set up some tables on the outside of the ring. Avery had a mic and said they had been inundated with messages from their fans after their screwjob 2 weeks ago. She said last time out they had not prepared themselves for their mystery opponents and that it wasn’t fair. This week though they had prepared properly for the unknown team, and after their win they would be selling their merchandise to all their fans at ringside.
Opening Match
La Fracasada v Mystery Opponents (Again!)
With Smith and Carter in the ring it was time to reveal their mystery opponents for the second week running. "Hit A Muthafucka" by Three 6 Mafia hit the speakers and the crowd seemed to instantly know what was coming. Out stepped The Salavea Twins to a loud cheer. La Fracasada were not impressed, clearly hoping for an easier surprise but looked up for the fight nonetheless. Their efforts didn’t amount to much though and it sadly (for them) it was over before it barely began. Jacob sealed the win with a Burning Hammer delighfully named IT A MUTHAFUCKA on Avery Smith while Rodney fended off Carter on the outside. After the bell he picked her up and dropped her through the merchandise table to the fans delight.
Winners: The Salavea Twins
Next up the Detroit fans were on their feet as new signing and local girl Arley Kirk came out to the ring before her match. Mic in hand she hyped the crowd before explaining why she had come to 5LW. She had been keeping a close on the action in recent weeks and it seemed most - though not all - of the people here were hell bent on cheating or cowardly tactics. Something was calling her to sign with this company and balance things out. Like Joan of arc's divine intervention, something was telling her to come here and clean this place up. It was time for change, and she would ensure the fans got what they came for.
Singles Match
Arley Kirk v Billie Garner
Kirk backed up her words with an impressive performance. Garner tried a few dirty tricks but The Suicide Blonde was quick to thwart her at every opportunity. Intent on making a lasting impression she dished out the AK-95 (Cartwheel cravate driver) at the ealiest opportunity and wrapped this up in a matter of minutes, spending more time with the fans after than she probably did in the ring.
Winner: Arley Kirk

Frank James came out to a loud cheer. He had promised an announcement on the Tag Team and Undisputed Titles and this was it. Next week would see the Reckless Dollz take on La Fracasada and the Salavea Twins for the 5LW Tag Team Chanpionships. Also next week would see a series of qualifiers for a shot at the big one. The following wrestlers would be involved and if successful they will make it through to the Main Event, an elimination match where the winner will be crowned the first ever Five Lakes Wrestling Undisputed Champion.
Jay Sinclair
Kore Violet
Tiffany Lynn Page
Iida Matsuda
Lauryn Lawson
Arley Kirk
Khloe Bell
AJ Rivera
Plus 2 more names to be revealed later in the night
Tag Team Match
Reckless Dollz v Sally Lambert & Patti Rose
After an impressive debut last week it was no surprise to see the Reckless Dollz pick up where they left off. Their chemistry and confidence was too much for the makeshift team of Rose and Lambert, and they put this one to bed with their signature Double Cutter on Rose. Rowen made the pin but as Lambert rose to her feet they dished out another one for pure enjoyment. They motioned to the fans that the belts would soon be around their waists, revelling in the abuse.
Winners: Reckless Dollz
Frank James was backstage with Emma Harrington. Emma said there was a rumour circling online that Jake Costello had not turned up this evening. James confirmed this was currently true but there was still time. If he didn’t though there was a replacement ready and waiting. Emma pressed him for who that might be but he was reluctant to say, other than it was one of the yet to be named entrants into next week's Undisputed Title match.
Singles Match
Sophie Diamandis v Iida Matsuda
Matsuda has blown hot and cold throughout her 5LW career, but the fans always get behind her. Tonight was one of her better nights though as she dominated a debuting Diamandis from start to finish, with a nice Spinning Heel Kick to get the W. A big confidence boost ahead of next week's Undisputed Title qualifiers.
Winner: Iida Matsuda
In between matches Khalon 'Hollywood' Norwood strutted out to the ring, introducing himself to the Detroit crowd. He then proceeded to trash the city and it's inhabitants, declaring himself the most glamorous thing that's probably even stepped foot inside this city, let alone a Five Lakes Wrestling ring. He told them not to worry though, because he was pleased to announce that HE was one of the yet to be unnamed superstars competing for the Undisputed Title. He said he always made a lasting impression, wherever he went, and next week his debut would be no different.
Singles Match
Kore Violet v Lauryn Lawson
The marks were excited about this one, and it didn't disappoint. Two of the most exciting prospects in Five Lakes Wrestling had the crowd on their feet, albeit to jeer them en route to the ring. Once the bell rang though it was strong encounter, with both women bringing out the best in one another. It was Violet that got the win though, when she edged out of a Backstabber from Lawson, and seized the moment Tilt-o-Whirl Dragon Sleeper for an impressive win, staking an early claim for the Undisputed Title.
Winner: Kore Violet

With Mauna, Sinclair and Rivera already in the ring, Frank James came out to announce their opponent was nowhere to be seen. However, he was excited to announce a more than worthy replacement, and the final name to be added to the Undisputed Title matches next week. We had already seen his brother's already in the night, but the fourth man in this match was none other than.. LEATI SALAVEA! Leati came rushing to the ring as the match immediately got underway.
Headliner
Openweight Title Match
Jay Sinclair v AJ Rivera v Kanaka Mauna v Leati Salavea
It was pure chaos from the minute Leati entered the ring, with these four heavyweights vying for the prize. The addition of Salavea had the crowd on their feet and he laid it on thick with Rivera early on, as the fans cheered. Sinclair was eager to get his hands on Mauna after he interrupted his match a few weeks back, but was wary of the other men around him. Rivera overcame the early onslaught to work his way into the match more, and after sending Leati over the ropes, seemed satisfied helping Sinclair lay into the already wounded Mauna. But Sinclair was nothing if not savvy and attacked Rivera from behind, knowing a single pinfall on any of these men would be enough to win the belt. Before he could Leati was back into contention, and prevented him from doing so. Mauna was back on his feet and hit a surprise chokeslam on the surprise entrant, but it wasn't enough to get the win as Rivera was back in the mix. Rivera was in strong contention here, but Sinclair came in with a Shonuff (Swinging Mat Slam) form nowhere. With Mauna already dazed he locked on the Sinclair Sleeper (Anaconda choke). Salevea was on his feet and entering the ring but Mauna tapped a split second before he could be saved, as Sinclair released the hold and his music began to play. Salavea nodded in respect as the belt was handed to Sinclair; to the victor, the spoils. Rivera pounded the mat in frustration as Sinclair stood aloft the turnbuckle and raised the Openweight Title in the air. He motioned around his waist and held up two fingers, signalling that there was room for one more.
Winner: Jay Sinclair (New Openweight Champion)
The cameras cut to the backstage area with a split screen to show Tiffany Lynn Page and Khloe Bell in the final moments before their match before a brief commercial.
Main Event
North American Title Match
Khloe Bell (c) v Tiffany Lynn Page
Both women came face to face as the belt was paraded behind them. Bell had opted to come out alone for this one, presumably a message to Page that she would win this one clean. But it was anything but from either competitor, as they each tried every trick in the book to steal this win from the off. The elder Page held her own with the younger Bell quite comfortably, and had the champion in all kinds of trouble for the mjaority of the match, but Bell pulled a reversal from nowhere when Page was lining up the Hottiebomb, and hit a quickfire Cradle Piledriver (Hell's Bells) to land her first defence. It wasn't pretty or her best performance to date, she had been pushed all the way, but she didn't let on as the belt was returned to her and the usual swagger and confidence began to exude. 'MARRY KILL F*CK' blasted around the arena as the night came to a halt in this final (for now) event in Michigan.
Winner: Khloe Bell (Still North American Champion)
